WOW, WOW, WOW!
From before I even got a foot in the door I knew I was gonna love this place, The jungley vibes light up the window and you can smell the fragrant, fresh smell of cruelty-free cooking as soon as you walk through the door. Leah greeted us with a big beautiful smile and we instantly felt welcomed and I was in Awe of all of the attention to detail.
There’s a kitch urbany outfitters type vibe with a retro tv and lots of bare wood to give a really warming rustic feel with plants 🪴 Our plan originally was to dine in but it was happy to take out as there was a cute Christmas gift market going on where we brought some ultra gorgeous handmade gifts.
Just as I thought nothing could get better we got home with our perfectly packed love packages … The food OMG it was absolutely banging!!
We had a mixture of everything a there was this really cheesy Mac and cheese, fluffy rice, perfectly cooked kale 🥬 and more .. and we was kindly offered Oreo brownie cake to take home too.. one thing I was not expecting was how insanely delicious the dumplings were, I think I ate the whole thing with my eyes closed 😋. They are very special.
But Please don’t take my word for it .. go and find out for yourself supporting this beautiful independent business, you will not be disappointed, this truely is a...
Read moreI had a lovely time at this restaurant with a walking group. The food was great and Leah is really friendly and helpful. She was quite knowledgeable about nutrition too and so I felt in good hands. The meal was so hearty that I was relaxed and lazy for the rest of the day. It was soothing, beautifully presented and flavourful, and made me excited to try more of the Carribbean cuisine which I'm quite new to. There were about 9 or 10 of us and so unfortunately I sat on a slightly higher chair than was entirely comfortable, due to running out of normal height stools, but I think this can't be helped as there were so many of us. I was sad that the carrot cake had sold out and I will likely go back to try some! I have told my vegan friends about this place and we are hoping to come back soon.
Hi! I cannot work out how to respond to your comment on my phone, so I am just adding to this! Aww I didn't realise they had the end chairs for comfort! Bless them. I swapped with someone much taller than me as I thought that it would be easier for me to sit there since I am much shorter in height. Hoping to come back again soon and try the plantain and lasagne! Thanks...
Read moreWent here recently as I was passing through the area and on the hunt for vegan places to eat. It was choos6e to closing time but Leah was happy to let me sit in which was appreciated. I can't remember exactly what I had; a curry of some sort with rice and peas and plantain. This version of fake meat was something I'd never tried before. Such a great texture, and the flavours were just what I wanted.. including the brownie to go....
Leah was real friendly, happy to chat and tell me about the menu (changes every month) and was even a super Nintendo with Street fighter 2 and super Mario kart (I've still got the moves..).
All in all I was really happy I took the chance and went there. If I was local, I'd be...
