This used to be a lovely cafe when it was owned by the previous owner, since then its gone down the drain. If you buy a sandwich the bread is too thick and you end up with more bread than filling, they've gone stingy with their servings too, ordered a small breakfast today for £3.50 and got 1 sausage, 1 shrivelled bacon, an overcooked egg, 1 piece of toast and literally a spoonful of beans yet half a bloody can of tomatoes despite me not wanting any at all, and no mushrooms which I asked for. Absolutely disgusting. Ruined the whole breakfast and for that price, absolute joke. I can go to another cafe and get fried toast, normal toast, hash brown, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, an egg (cooked the way I like) black pudding and mushrooms for just £1 more!! I no longer recommend this place. It used to be so so good before....

I disagree with most reviews here. Quality was average. Not bad, just not as good as made out in reviews. Compared to several other local cafes, who all generally taste the same. Food was edible. Ordered a BEST. bacon was rock hard and cold, sausages re heated, egg cooked fresh but was slap dashed onto the bread. Tomatoe was hot so all good. Service was poor, the lady didn’t say hello or goodbye or thank me when I payed. Hygiene was quite poor- you shouldn’t be cleaning the floor with same gloves that you serve...
