Visited during the weekend. The place has a play area for kids and thought we could use the last bit of weather and eat outside. First impression - filthy! Rubbish everywhere on the floor - leftovers, wrappings, tables not cleaned after whoever last used them with food swuashed on seats and tables. My son liked the slide and wanted to stay so we thought ok, lets not just run away - but it only got worse! We found a half decent table with a lot of glassses on it but not so much other dirt - so I went to order - woman wasnt happy i dont know my table nr to start off with and didnt hide it. I thought ok its my fault i shouldve checked. As i ordered I asked politely if somebody could clean the table for us - i thought the woman will explode! She did not wven say anything just walked away in a massive rush and cleaned the table next to ours and then ours with real anger. At that point if I hadnt ordered my food I would just leave but not going to waste my money for somebodys attitude. So the food arrived and wow! £3 asda ready meal tates better! Actually has a taste. Chicken Tikka Masala I have ordered myself only tasted of spice. Nothing esle. As if somebody would just add some chilli into it nothing else. It was not cooked as it should be thats for fact. Chips tasted of old cheapest oil, and naan bread was chewy - tasted as if it was just microwaved.. at least my j2o was nice and cool. I only gave 2 stars for the service as the girl who broughr us the food was very nice and smiled and asked if we would need any help - very nice and approachable! I truly believe the woman who served us was the manager of the place (she did seem it) so whoever hired jer for such possition is a suicider! To conclude this awful experience - I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. Pricws are fine but still wasted and as an ex- CS manager I would never ever let any of my staff give such an attitude towards any off my customers - especially when theyre polite and just expect bare minimum from you (as...
Read moreme and my partner came in for food earlier on we have visited quite a few times when we was ordering everything was fine then the woman who was serving us gave us our drinks (we had ordered 2 Pepsis to go with our food) however the glass was nearly only half full so my partner said to her in a joking manner as he laughed when he said it he said that's not full and laughed which then she replied with a sarcastic face on her don't need to be rude do you which then my partner replied to say to her that he wasn't being rude that he was just saying that it wasn't full which to be honest I don't know why she would give it us in the first place like that anyways she filled it and i said thank you and went to our table to wait for our meal which then another member of staff who I am guessing was the manager she hair red hair came storming over and shouted in front of all the other customers highly unprofessional to get out as we had upset her member off staff my partner went to explain to her bust she didn't listen and just kept saying there's your money get out not listening to a word he was going to say I don't understand where this kind of unprofessionalism comes from she could of sat and quietly said what she needed to at the table without shouting in front over other customers and then actually listened to our side will not be visiting here again extremely disappointed and angered with that woman how she's a manger I do not know would not speak to my...
Read moreNICE FOOD - POOR SERVICE My wife and I don't get an opportunity to eat out very often, but as it was our 20th wedding anniversary, my wife suggested The White Rabbit as she visits there regularly after visiting the gym next door. We arrived around 7pm and the pub didn't seem that busy, plenty of empty tables. We chose a table and I went to order the food. There was one young woman working behind the bar and there appeared to be only one staff member waiting on tables. After a considerable wait, I placed my order and returned our table. It was almost an hour before we got our food. The young man, who appeared to be the only one waiting on tables, who brought our food, apologised for the delay..The food was very nice and good portions. Main course finished, we waited for the solitary waiter to take our plates and bring our desserts. We sat and waited. Twice he passed us bringing food from the kitchen and on neither occasion did he stop to ask us, 'Are you finished, would you like me to take your plates?' Eventually my wife got up and took the plates back to the bar herself. Five minutes later, our desserts arrived. My wife remarked to the waiter, 'You need more staff here', to which he replied, 'I should have finished by now'. It took the shine off what was supposed to be a special evening. Disappointing White Rabbit. Must try harder. Two stars (for the food). None for the...
