A nice large building from the outside situated inbetween a main carriageway and a residential estate with ample parking spaces around the building. The inside is mostly clean and well maintained and the restaurant offers outdoor seating. Upon entering the restaurant the staff were very friendly and inviting. You seat yourself and then order at the bar when you are ready. I went for the breakfast menu and was very happy to see a wide range of meals and at a very reasonable price. All breakfasts offer unlimited Tea and coffee for £1 with a breakfast. The restaurant is very quiet on morning which is generally common for the breakfast menu and picked up during for the lunchtime menu. The food was plentiful and of good quality. They use (or at least used) salted bacon which gave a taste differing to expectation. Toilets were clean and well maintained but had a very over-powering air freshener scent. I enjoyed my visit today and would reccomend everyone to visit this restaurant.

Visited today for an early lunch as 2 adults and 3 children. Not visited here for some years now and I must admit the place is looking very tired now and in need of some investment. This is a shame as the location, the staff and the building itself is very good. The staff particularly were very welcoming but seems over stretched when more customers came later. As for the food...we ordered from the feed the family for £16 so I will try and balance my thoughts. The portion sizes were quite small but I guess that is the compromise for ordering from the offer menu. The food was ok but largely underwhelming. We paid £5.99 for a boneless SFC to accompany the mains but this came as 3 nugget sized pieces of chicken. Tasted ok but for £2 a nugget is way overpriced. In comparison wetherspoons or hungry horse offer better quality food, larger portions sizes and particularly wetherspoons more value options on drinks. Shame as could be so much better

Massive portions and really friendly staff. Car parking is great and food tasty. Went their yesterday very attentive staff. Lady who deals with your bookings a little assertive re covid. Watched at least three to four people lean against the bar without socially distancing. Our waitress was fab couldnt do enough well done. Here today service very slow asked for a quiet table was put in a noisy family area using mobiles. Food was very dis jointed my guests got theirs before mine and was waiting at least 5 minutes. Shame cos used to be a really nice pub. Food was tasteless and chicken over cooked and dry, burger lacked flavour . Staff were attentive and puddings were nice. Chipped glass

Myself and my husband visited the Elizabeth Arms sizzling pub on our last day of our holiday, which was actually the end of our honeymoon, we arrived and as it's not the first time lately that they take a while to deliver food we checked before parking to see how long the waiting time was, we were told 30 mins so we decided to stay than travel somewhere else. On entering there was 2 in the queue and an average amount sat eating/waiting. Ordered our food which was placed by the receipt at 7.05 we waited and waited and waited .... we got to 745 so asked the waitress if she could check on our order, without even getting to the end of our sentence she interrupted by saying it's a half an hour wait, which we then replied yes we know but it's been 40 mins and no sign!(bearing in mind the pub had emptied alot at this point) She said she would go and check. 10 mins later returned with our meals. They arrived with no onion rings or relish on Danny's and no grilled tomato and no sizzling with mine, further investigation revealed the cheese was just cheddar on Danny's and no seasoning on what should have been seasoned chips!! I went up to the assistant manager to explain that these things were missing and she replied with she'll come over as soon as she could, she didn't instead sent the waitress out with the dishes of 1 an attempt of a grilled tomato, which you will see from the pics below it was showed the grill for 2 secs!! Relish and onion rings in the other dishes!! we continued to explain to her its not just the items missing!! to which several times returned back with different excuses of why things were the way they were, instead of sending a manager or some1 that should have been able to deal with us in 1 conversation!! All the time my meal was going cold and my hubby's was going back n forth to the kitchen. When we finally had our meals to eat the waitress said the lady (whom I had approached already) would be informed as she's in charge and will pop over, this never materialised we'd eaten our meals and finished our drinks so left the building!!! It's not the 1st time recently we have been disappointed by their service don't know what's happened the last 12/18 months but the service and customer service are appalling and we will not be returning for a good while if at all!!! We have sent a complaint to the company on the eve of the meal and no surprise we have not heard anything from them as yet!!!! . So if you want a meal that's on the menu and on time with good service avoid this...

I have been coming here for years as I live local but the past couple of times have been a complete let down for us. Food is seriously lacking and there is never enough staff and we are always told of long waits on food for it to then come out looking like it has just been thrown on the plate.

We found a table which still had dirty glasses etc. These were not collected until AFTER we had eaten. The table was sticky and staff just didn't seem to want to know and would walk past us. I felt sorry for them as they all looked fed up and were constantly being asked where food was and running around.

I did take some pictures of the chicken I had which came out and was stone cold in the middle which obviously I didn't realise until I got to that part and a lot of the meat was a weird pinkish/Brown colour. Myself and my partner had about 10 chips between us. I couldn't eat the chicken in the end and so I ended up leaving nearly all of it apart from eating the skin and some bits off the sides where it was still warm. (Can send pictures if needed)

You may wonder why we never said anything to staff as it was this bad? There was no staff around!! When there were they were serving or running around with mounts of dirty plates and just didn't seem approachable as their attitudes and facial expressions said it all for us.

I'm not looking for a refund or a voucher or anything like that as I really will not come back here.. I just wanted to express how sad it is to see the food and the place as a whole go to pot. My family no longer come here either as they had a birthday booked here and half of their table were served food and the other half were served nearly 20 minutes later and were not apologised too or anything! They had to go up to the bar themselves and remind them!

Seriously advise a look into the chefs and how the staff are organised here as it was pretty sad to see.

Ice cream was okay but then that only has to come out the freezer...I was starving from the failed main so dessert was needed at this point...still had to wait over half hour for ice cream...

It's a shame because this place used to be fantastic and I'd visit with family every Sunday but after my visit today I sadly won't be visiting ever again.

There's signs all over the tables to advertise on the app so we did. Took a long time for the drinks, about 20 minutes.

I had the lasagne, it was a small portion but OK for the price. It used to come with salad and two large pieces of garlic bread, now it only comes with one piece of garlic bread that they cut in half and say is two. I've honestly had way better ready meal Lasagnes.

My son had a cheeseburger, the best meal out of the three but the burger bun was black on the inside and rock hard so he only managed to eat half.

Worst by far was the sizzling grilled chicken. For the price, I expected a half decent portion but no, the kids meals would have been just as big. It was half a chicken breast, more like the size of a single chicken tender, with absolutely no seasoning on, on a bed of about 4 small squares of peppers and one piece of brocolli and no onions. You do get chips on the side. It doesn't state the size of the chicken on the menu and I can see why. The meal was completely bland. We even paid an extra £2 to buy a 'hot sauce' which just tasted like a watered down tomato pasta sauce with no spice. You can buy a chicken and steak sizzling plate for an extra 50p, the table next to us did order this and it was three times the size.

We weren't asked whether our food was fine (wasn't overly busy), but we did leave about 5-10 mins after receiving our food and ended up going to the local mcdonalds so maybe they would have if we stayed longer.

I'm really disappointed as I used to love this pub but it feels like it's lost the customer service atmosphere and food has gone really downhill and I felt like ove just wasted £40. Sorry guys, but I hope this feedback helps implement...
