Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Worthing

This Costa is the best I have ever used. The staff are wonderful and friendly and know my drink by heart. They also go out of their way to help me when I bring in my grandma with dementia, bringing drinks to the table and helping moving chairs for her wheelchair. This store should recognise their young staff team as exemplary. It's very often busy here but the staff always work quickly and efficiently and still provide an excellent level fo customer service compared to some other Costa stores I've been to in the area. I'm afraid I don't know all their names but Katie in particular is great, but really all of them deserve recognition from Costa.

We usually have nothing but excellent customer service, unfortunately the young 20's man (tall with short blonde hair & deep voice, name tag covered by apron) was more interested in what was going on behind him, my partner misheard him and when she laughed to say sorry she was met with a blank, unimpressed stare. (Which had been present for our entire interaction)

Im sure he was having an 'off day' but my partner herself is a barista and understands the importance of good customer service aswell as the pressures that come with the job, but we both know when working in customer facing jobs how much an "interaction" like that can affect your day. I came in with my little sister to get a coffee and I said I would like to take out originally to them, I after had chnaged my mind as my little sister wanted to sit in I didn't think it would be an issue, the guy working gave me on and saw my sister sitting down , looked at me and went are you sitting in now I replied yes he said go sit and I will bring it over in a rude way, I went over to my sister and I hear them shout between themselves that's their coffee there she said take out not eat in she was being difficult and its the same cup anyway which embrassed me in front of everyone this is terrible and truly not okay work on your service please it's not...
