Taco Bell — Restaurant in Worthing

The place could do with a proper clean, Especially the touchscreens to order from.

The food is okay the best item on the menu for me is the chicken quesadilla they always taste nice and are always hot.

Other than that most of the time it’s lukewarm if not called the chips are basically Stone cold by the time you eat them.

And unless you’re gonna eat in the store which is quite small and awkward because people are coming in and ordering right next to you, by the time you get home with your food it will be cold.

The service was good from the girl who serve me but the people that she was working with a really slow with prepping the food I don’t think they have a manager there and if they do it’s a pretty poorly run establishment.

I thought that maybe ordering in the store and then just taking it home myself would’ve been better as I don’t live too far but even then by the time you get the food home it’s basically lukewarm and the churros are hard and crispy when they should be soft

I wouldn’t recommend this place yet but I think it has potential in the future to be a good place they definitely need to season their food more add some spice and find a way to keep it hot..

All in all I would say...

Really, really disappointed. Love Taco Bell in Chichester but the new worthing store had me wait in store for 45 mins for food. My buddy waited even longer! I asked at the 35 min mark what’s going on as orders were being done in series and it had got busy AFTER the time I had placed an order for the man at the desk told me “it’s got busy since you have got here”. Not wanting to cause aggravation to the worker who was already busy, I didn’t tell him that his statement clearly contradicts what I have clearly observed I asked “why not shout out that there is a delay” he just went red and shrugged his shoulders. I understand it was busy but I would have appreciated the update. Anyway, I got my food back and find both main items have the wrong meat and the food items I asked be removed present. What I had was nice but not what I asked for. My friend however, had items missing. We agreed we didn’t want to spend another 45 mins waiting and left it. We will make the drive to Chichester next time as it will be a similar time from leaving home to eating next time (we were in worthing that evening). Sorry... this is really, really bad food. Their chicken "burrito" is basically a horrible long-life palm oil wrap containing some heated-up frozen reconstituted chicken, a bit of lettuce and about 20 teaspoons of salt. Basically, not a burrito at all, more like a worse version of a £1.99 McDonalds chicken wrap (which is already pretty bad).

My wife's choice was a big lump of toasted nasty fake bread containing mashed up black beans with no detectable seasoning except for salt, a bit of lettuce, plus the advertised "crunch" provided by mashed up Doritos.

I know this is big chain fast food and I wasn't expecting anything to the level of Crudo or Taco Look At Me Now... but even with low expectations this was really bad.

If you're in the area and hungry, do yourself a favour and go next door to Subway or get a Tesco meal deal. Pretty much anything will be better than...
