Really liked the vibe in here, it felt like it was a locals spot. It was really small and intimate inside and I liked the layout of the place. I got a chai latte and it was delish, it was a bit gritty towards the end of my drink with tea leaves, but still lovely. I will say that the seating is quite uncomfortable, could do with some cushions as it's just wooden benches atm. But all in all I'd highly recommend!

Rather a lot of E numbers for a loaf of bread. Didn’t feel the bread was particularly fresh either. Disappointing.

Everything I've tried from here has been very tasty, but my favourite is this orange polenta cake

Good coffee but have to agree with previous posters, that at these prices a ‘bakery’ should be where products are baked on site. Traditional baguettes/croissants are a bit dense and lacking that crisp spring you get with freshly baked produce

Wow that is a long winded response! I am sure your baker knows exactly what he/she is doing in the kitchen but the proof is in eating of your produce as a customer. I am comparing your traditional products with my experience of eating them in France or closer to home the Real Patisserie in Shoreham, not the local co-op etc where I am sure they probably do use preservatives and are cooked from frozen, most people are fully aware of that thanks. Fact remains your baguettes are dense and lack a crisp bite/chewy soft centre primarily I should imagine because they are not freshly cooked on site (always been my assumption that was kind of the point of being a ‘bakery’?) Anyway...

Certain things are priced on the ridiculous side, a can of diet coke is £2.70 even takeaway no cup or ice offered. Whilst it's nice to get a flat white the right size the tiny iced coffees seemed a bit of a joke 4 sips and it's gone. Last went in on a Saturday afternoon an hour before they closed but you'd have thought they were shut no seating outside and were packing up all cakes and pastries sat looking quite sad and dry far too much was the same kind of overly chocolatey and small but high priced. One sad dry looking roll with beetroot that was 7 quid... Staff more interested in talking to each other... It's just the trendy place not what it was you're paying for a name on a shopfront far better quality and value to be had locally. The doors are also never fully open so you must be rather skinny to get...

I pop in for a coffee a few times a week. It’s my little treat and it sets the tone for my day - when it’s made right. By that, I mean made with care, the way it’s meant to be.

Flower Pot coffee has its own flavour. It should be velvety, creamy, and downright delicious. And sometimes it is. But other times, it’s just like every other watery, scalding cappuccino out there. I’ve had to take mine back more than once, and the expressionless cashier looks at me like I’ve asked for a kidney. Which is… awkward, given I’m only asking for the coffee I’ve paid for.

Please keep it consistent. I don’t want to feel like I’m playing coffee roulette every...
