I had an amazing breakfast at Brookside cafe but not everything was perfect I didn’t found the staff very friendly I didn’t like the beans the sausages the ash brown was full of oil very greasy bland mushrooms all the rest was fine with a ok cup tea good quality for a good price it’s a big cafe good service well located by the A30 between Worcester & Droitwich I can recommend ok Mr. Wig. Came here for breakfast, clean and tidy, staff friendly at counter, ordered 2 breakfasts, not bad at all, chopped tomatoes and bacon on point, eggs runny but cooked, only thing that let the hole experience down truthfully was the sausages didn't taste, apart from that everything else was on point

Friendly and experienced butchers, the place is literally wall to wall meat inside with an enviable array of sauces also. Give this place a try for your Sunday roast, then go and compare the quality vs the supermarkets. Support a local business.

Came today with my family, all seated deciding what to eat then went to place our order one member wanted a little make your own breakfast (2sos, 2bacon, 2 hash browns beans toast) when I started to tell the woman serving she wrote the first 2 items down then said.. oh we don't do a make your own!! I was surprised at this as we've ate here before and never had this problem. Not everyone likes all the items on a traditional breakfast I.e black pudding, mushrooms/tomatoes so why can't you decide what you want? Totally put us off so left. Ashame really as it was a nice cafe I think this should be an option I totally understand the 'swapping items off a traditional breakfast' not being allowed but I was asking for these items not...

As a biker I tend to end up in roadside cafes quite a lot! I once spent 8 days just travelling from biker cafe to biker cafe all over England (they were convenient pit-stops...but yes...I should probably reconsider aspects of my life :D ).

I had breakfast here today - I was the last order of the day. As a former chef I can tell you that will go one of two ways - excellent or awful - rarely anything in-between. This. Was. Excellent. There wasn't a single thing on that plate that wasn't cooked perfectly. Good cup of tea too. If was going to be REALLY picky I would have liked less juice in the cooked tomatoes (personal preference) and a bigger mug for the tea.

But I will definitely be stopping...

Rude staff. Called twice and both times they ended the call rather than answering it. So I drove down, got to the till and the blonde lady that was there decided to turn around and walk of before even acknowledging me. After I minute had gone I popped my head over the counter to see where she was and she was out the back having a conversation. When she saw me looking she came back to the till. However once again no acknowledgement she grabbed some coffee syrup and turned her back on me. At that point I left and will not be returning...
