Walked in today, only to be greeted by staff saying horrible remarks about customers not quietly may I add, then I brought turkey and ham pie. Or should I say a mortens mouldy pie it’s a good thing I spotted it when I did or I reckon I’d be pretty ill right now. Needless to say won’t be visiting again and highly advised those who do to be careful.

We had high hopes coming into this local cafe, but it was deeply subpar. We paid £15 for a vegetarian breakfast - at that price, you don’t expect it to be poor quality and underwhelming. Forgot the tomato and had to ask for it. Free range eggs but they were some of the worst I’ve ever had, unseasoned, tasteless. Eggs Royale was average and they forgot the salmon as well!!! Salmon obviously being the main component of a royale so it arrived as a poached egg on toast with hollandaise, quite funny really 😂 The Wetherspoons breakfast that I had last week for £4 was better than what I was served which makes me sad as it’s a local cafe and we wanted a decent breakfast from them. The staff were friendly after the complaint had been made though and offered complimentary drinks, but overall, a very disappointing experience. Definitely would not return until...

Visited this tea room for lunch and was rather disappointed. Ordered decaf latte coffee but they don’t serve decaf so went with normal latte which arrived shortly after, it was sweetened and of the powdered kind consequently couldn’t drink it. Given they have numerous varieties of tea it was disappointing to have only filter coffee on offer that was drinkable. Meals of ham & cheese ploughman’s and quiche and salad arrived and of good portion size in fact some of the ham and cheese wrapped up to take home for tea! Suggest they invest in a...

Visited with cycling friends today....made to feel unwelcome. Asked not to sit on the velour chairs incase we got them dirty (we were clean). Offered either leave or sit at a table squashed against the back wall so we were facing the wall and in the main route through the tables. We stayed, but will not be visiting again..plenty more welcoming cafes to be found nearby. Oh and...the...
