Absolutely excellent food. Chips are actually large potatoes cut into 6 pieces and are superb. We went back for breakfast a few days later & similarly it wasn't to dissapoint. The Big Barrow full English doesn't leave you hungry. A caveat is that the food isn't the cheapest., but quality always comes a premium & we felt it was outstanding value for money.

One of our favourites. You can always get a table (even on Mother's /Father's day). We had an 91 year old, who wanted soup, I had a delicious cake and son had full roast dinner. Caters for everyone. All the food tastes very fresh and the veg is local fresh produce. Drinks (herbal tea, and latte) good quality. Generous helpings and not expensive.

This restaurant is part of a lovely garden centre and farm shop. The food was very tasty. The savoury scones are delicious. The mushroom stroganoff baked potato was very good. They have a large selection of gorgeous cakes too. Lots of space between the tables so that you may manoeuvre easily and talk in peace. Surprising find.

It's a shame really, admittedly we went at around 1pm on a Saturday, it wasn't overly busy, but.... service to purchase was really slow, loads of staff but they took ages to work through the queue. Didn't help that a staff member came in and of course everyone had to take time to speak to her. Food came quickly once we eventually ordered and it was really nice. Fish Fingers on the FF & Chip sandwich were a bit overcooked, Prawn sandwich was lovely, loads of prawns. Lacking ambience to be honest, very bright, could see only tables and chair, no comfy seating if you just wanted a coffee, cake and a natter. And I have to say their selection of cakes was brilliant! The place has been there fir ages and financially it probably works for them, but it could be a goldmine with a little thought and...

A friend and I regularly visit Rowberrys restaurant but after todays performance by the serving staff we won't be going again. During the winter I order a hot chocolate with cream (I do not drink tea or coffee). Today the hot chocolate was undrinkable and smelt "off" once the cream was removed. As we were leaving my friend mentioned politely and quietly to the servers that the hot chocolate was not drinkable. No customers were at the counter. I agreed and said the drink was vile. This unleashed a defensive tirade directed at me. The server said they only use the best ,Cadburys and she had the same drink and how dare I say it was vile. I was not going to argue with her. I just said we won't be back because of your attitude. Then she said sorry ! It seems Rowberrys can afford to...

If it was possible would put 0 for this place now where do I start i can here with a friend for some food and order the full English was a little over priced but If the food was good there would be no complaints but thats the problem the food was horrible the sausages had a odd sour taste and I did ask the staff if this was something I could have replaced and rudely the short lady with brown hair gave me a refund well part refund with no apology at all then I wanted a pot of tea each and we got given one pot to share and a cup of hot water that was going cold apparently this was easier for her still full cost for half what I asked for this place is a no go really need to get better staff and better...
