McDonald's — Restaurant in Abbeville

This morning approximately 7am after being served thru drive-thru, I was approached by a Homeless man that kindly asked for food. So he and I entered the establishment, with glares, the male Supervisor/Manager ignored my greeting twice and directed his attention to the homeless ( customer) instructing him to leave " he knows he is not suppose to be in here". Quietly he turned and left. I asked the Manager if I could purchase a meal for hime. Management told me NO if I feed him he will expect food everyday from you. I left and drove to BK across the Hwy. where both the homeless man and I were well received, they treated us like customers and he placed his order. He did not ask me for money, only food. Mc Donald's has lost my families business. I thank BK for your Humanity and Goodness that Humans Lack unfortunately. I am in hopes McDonald's owner in Abbeville reads my comment and works on a compassion driven work environment. I understand the dynamics that vagrancy can cause to an establishment. let me start by saying I am not a fan of McDonalds food. It is bland and is typically a last resort for me. This visit was a last resort but I have to say the Crispy Chicken Sandwich wasn’t too bad, the fries tasted old tho. I felt like it definitely needed more flavor but it was hands down better than that thing that McDonalds calls a Hamburger. I have never had anything at McDonalds that made me say “dear god I have to have another one”. As a matter of fact I typically end up throwing half of my meal in the trash. I stopped getting food from any McDonald’s I decided today after a year in a half to get a burger and fries I ordered on the mobile app once placing order it took me 15 minutes to get my food the person walking the order wasn’t too thrilled to see a customer in curbside I guess. Once getting home opening my double quarter pounder I broke the burger in half sure enough burger not done !!!! NEVER IS THE BURGERS DONE WHEN U GET A 1/4 patty … it’s ridiculous all the money ppl pay and I can’t even review them bc they didn’t give me my receipt…so I’m trash goes the burger and only got fries that was right and not old for the first time they actually were a large size instead of receiving a half filled one I got full .
