Our first visit to Abbeville, so this was our first visit to Thai Spice Kitchen. Our sweet hostess (BB?) was wonderful! Made us feel very welcome when we walked in the doorway. She helped me and hubby decide what to order (see photos). This was also our first "Thai food", and yes both dishes were spicey and delicious. Our plates were served quickly. She kept our drink glasses topped off and checked back with us often. We were very delighted to enjoy these meals at Thai Spice Kitchen! Thank you again for such fabulous service!

We've eaten at many, many Thai restaurants over the years. This place has above average food, though the veggies in the curry were a bit sparse. The spice level was good, both mild and medium. Note that the portions are quite small. You get a tiny bowl of rice and they charge for another, which is highly unusual. Rice is almost free, after all and the typical Thai restaurant will serve a large bowl of rice with the meal. The Pad Thai seemed overly sweet.

So much more than we expected. Casual atmosphere with very friendly and helpful service. We started with the Tom Yum Soup and fresh rolls! Both fantastic. The soup was one of the most delicious Tom yum soups we’ve had! The winner tonight was the Panang Curry. We’ve had it in many different restaurants. This one was so aromatic and flavorful that it will be the most memorable! It was absolutely delicious! Give this new restaurant a try!!

Someone please tell me why Abbeville, SC has some of the best Thai food in the US?? I grew up in Abbeville and have since branched out and traveled the world. Thai food has become one of my favorites and I usually have Tom Kha soup at least once a week. Where I live in NC has at least 4 different Thai places that I frequent. None of them hold a candle to this place! No Thai place I’ve ever eaten at in the US does! Whenever I’m in town my wife and I get as much food as possible from here. Their pineapple fried rice is the best you will have anywhere in the world—Thailand included. Their Pad Thai is a bit more American than traditional but that’s not a bad thing as it is packed with SO much flavor. Their mango sticky rice is absolutely perfect. Simple dishes that everyone had a million times like sesame chicken or chicken satay are somehow elevated here to a level I’ve never experienced. How does their sesame chicken stay so crispy when all I’ve ever had anywhere else is a gummy clumped up mess of syrupy sweetness? Then there’s their soups. I’m pretty certain their Tom Kha soup could cure any illness. Adjust the spice level to how much you would like to clear out your sinuses and enjoy. My only complaint about this place is the false expectations it’s going to set for people who haven’t had Thai food before. You may eat here and think that you love Thai food but no, you just love the way Thai Spice in Abbeville has perfected every traditional Thai dish and taken it to the next level of...

First let me say, I feel awful for not taking pictures. The food was so delicious that I gobbled it up without thinking. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We were at the car show today and saw the restaurant front from across the Plaza. Boy oh boyyyy, we have absolutely no regrets. My husband and I shared the fresh rolls as our appetizer. Then to our amazement the most fragrant smells lofted from the kitchen. I had the Ka Pow with pork (hot spice level), the flavor was so delicious and left a tingle on my lips. My hubby got the yellow curry 🍛 (medium spice level), holy moly it was a dish we will dream about for a while. Don't miss out on this wonderdul treasure. This will be a new go to for us...it will be worth the drive for sure. We have already picked out our next dishes to try. Oh make sure to try the desserts, the look amazing. Definitely something we are trying next time. Wonderful job Thai Spice Kitchen...absolutely worth...
