Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Abernathy

Called in an order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I waited the ten minutes then drove to location. Drove through the drive through, paid for my order and was instructed to pull up and wait because my order was not ready yet. I placed my order at 6:10 as per the receipt. 10 minutes pass, 20, twice someone came out with other people's orders thinking it was mine. No that's not my order. 7:00 I drive back through the drive through to get my money back. What a waste of time and the manager kept trying to make excuses as to why I had to wait 50 minutes for their food. I could have driven to Lubbock and been back in the amount of time it took to get my order right. It was 7:20 before I could leave with my refund. Their food is not worth waiting an hour for. It's barely worth the ten minute wait, but in a small town there are really no other places to eat. Lesson learned. Will be driving to Lubbock for decent food...

This Dairy Queen sucks. I ordered a 4 piece steak finger basket at 9:19pm and they made me pull up to wait for it. They finally brought me my food at 9:42pm. When I got home, the fries were cold and looked a couple of hours old and the steak fingers were barely warm. Twenty-three minutes! I can cook bone in chicken wings in 8 minds, so I don't know what they were doing in there. And no they weren't busy. There wasn't a car in the parking lot and no one inside and I was the only one in the drive through when I got there. They might as well close the doors to this place. I want to shout out to Amaya today I went for a chili cheese combo through the drive through as she was handing me my change a dollar was caught by the wind I couldn’t get out of my car to retrieve it and Amaya came out side and made sure I got my change back she did not have to do that it’s my fault I didn’t keep a tighter grip.
