Heff's Burgers — Restaurant in Abilene

First time trying Heff's in many years. The first time I had it was in Lubbock and it was not very good and never went back.

This location in Abilene is absolutely amazing their mushroom swiss is sooo good and soo much better than the one Whataburger used to sell.

The twister fries were absolutely amazing!

Everything was hot and fresh and seasoned well.

Literally I just finished my meal and had to type a review before driving off.

Everything was simply wonderful.

My only nitpick was the website could be updated when placing an order it was slightly confusing when selecting options, but I did get the hang of it.

Other than that I will absolutely be back!

Edit: My biggest complaint is that their website for mobile order always has issues. I can access it just fine on a desktop computer but it's a nightmare with server errors accessing from my phone. (Google Chrome, Opera, Samsung Web Explorer etc..) I've also tried desktop mode too. Please get with your website host and optimize for your mobile platforms like Chrome. I had to order on the Toast app. But I don't get any restaurant points. I typed in my number to log in with a code. It didn't send a code it just refreshes asking for my number...

I posted last year saying "Nice and clean place. Food is great. Always a favorite of ours!" Sadly, this is no longer the case. The quality at Heffs has gone down to where its almost a different restaurant!. We ordered for pick up and everything on that order was messed up. The fries were under cooked and cold. The tots were soggy and cold. The burgers: we ordered 2 doubles only got 1. We ordered cheese on all only 2 had cheese, and all the burgers were dry. No mayo, no ketchup, no mustard nothing, the patties all had different thicknesses, different size and shape and no 2 patties looked the same and we order 4 burgers, the meat was dry, the bread was soggy...I mean I've never seen anything like it!! And whats more, this isn't the first time we had a problem with our order and the quality of the food. This happened at least the last 4 times I've ordered food from there so needless to say, myself and my family are never going back...

This is the first time I’ve ate at this location but I will most definitely not eat here again! I feel completely disrespected. My husband our child and myself came here I asked for a HOT DOG for my son they gave him a chili dog not what I asked for. 2nd I asked for a mushroom Swiss with lettuce avocado mayo and no bun they brought me a patty lettuce and avocado no mayo so I told then they got my order wrong and that’s not what I asked for they offered to “remake” my order they just threw on a slice of Swiss and added the mushrooms still didn’t get my mayo and it was sooo cold ruined my entire appetite! My husbands food was the only thing that turned out right. I definitely do not recommend this place as I’ve been a server and worked at fast food and this is so unacceptable I’ve never done this when I say I’ll remake it I remake it...
