"update" Goodby to Sharon's BBQ. At least last 3 visits have had problems about all the fat on the brisket. Ate their yesterday and got the brisket plate for me and my wife. "EVERY , I MEAN " EVERY SINGLE CUT OF BRISKET WAS SO INFILTRATED WITH FAT THAT YOU COULD TELL TILL YOU BEGAN TO EAT AND REALIZED YOUR MOUTH WAS COATED IN FAT. THAT'S IT FOR ME. BYE BYE. ORIGINAL COMMENT BELOW !$16 dollars for simple plate of barbeque with sides !!! Ridiculous!!! Food was cold. Barbeque not with the money. No barbeque is worth $ 16 dollars. Staff was friendly except for the men cutting up barbeque. Not fit for customer service in anyway. Their attitude sucked. Need to put coasters on legs of chairs because employees insist on quisling chairs across floor while cleaning tables. Atmosphere very very bad. Employees behind counter don't get concept of quiet atmosphere while trying to eat. Stomach was in knots by the time me and wife left. Was not able to even try to enjoy food for all the noise. They need to put up sound absorbing material to absorb noises. The have the adasity to leave spaces to give tips. What a joke !! They simply bring you your styrofoam plate with brisket on it and that's all they do and ask for a tip. Hardwood booths with hardwood seats. What a classy joint. "NOT" Won't be back. You can...

Visiting the Abilene area and came here in a recommendation and also saw the restaurant listed on the visit Abilene website. My family and I went in about 5 pm. The staff was friendly and offered a few suggestions on what the customers say is the best they offer. Between all of us we ordered sliced brisket moist, turkey, jalapeno cheese sausage, ribs, and catfish. For sides, we ordered jalapeno corn, macaroni cheese, potato salad, and green beans. The best items we had were the catfish and the ribs. The turkey and sausage were run of the mill, nothing special. The brisket was dry and not very tasty at all. The sides were disappointing to say the least. Almost everything was sweet even the jalapeno corn. The potato salad was a sweet mayo based variety that I could only eat one spoonful of. The only thing that we thought was halfway decent was the green beans and they weren't anything I would write home about. All the breads are wrapped in foil and kept in a warmer. Because of this, the breads are moist and not in a good way. The thing that bothered us the most is the food was lukewarm to cold. Overall, we were disappointed in our meal and won't be visiting or recommending this...

I went up to Sharon’s today like I do a lot to pick up food. I drive Up to the speaker & was told to wait. That’s fine , but I was told to wait & sorry for the wait several times. As I was waiting two cars behind me went around me & were waited on before me! I told The girl taking the orders what happened when she finally took my order. She did not respond. When I got To the window I told Her again! This is just wrong!! Her only response was some people call in their order & don’t want to wait in line what do you want me to do? These people did not call in an order she took their order as I sat & waited!! Besides all that if you don’t want to wait your turn go inside!! I usually don’t ever leave a bad review , but this whole thing made me so mad!!! I love Sharon’s food, and I do Understand all the problems people are having right now with getting good help. This was unfair & I am tired of being taken advantage of & saying nothing. Owners & managers need to be there to see how your good customers are being treated if not you may not have a business for long like so many others...
