Blue Line Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Addison Township

The food is amazing, the fries are just like Portillos awesome, the burger is great, the fried chicken sandwich is huge and very good. Prices are very affordable. But the service really needs help and consistency. My first time I was here the server came to my table. Second time I was ignored for five minutes so I walked out. I decided to try it again just because of the food. Third time I was told that you walk up to the bar to order, I did not know that. Fourth time the dark haired girl who was my server the first time, and is really cool, explained how thing operate here. Now I'm back because I had a job in the area and the blonde girl made me pay immediately when I ordered. I'm confused because all the other times I paid at the end like a usual restaurant plus I may want to order more food. Well i guess tipping is not required since I just paid like it was take out. Tried to dine in just now at this place. 4:30 on Tuesday 11/22. Walked in with my husband and our baby in a stroller. The place was empty. Looks awesome and it was clean but the one lady working the bar looked annoyed when we walked in. Didn’t acknowledge us. We sat at a table and grabbed our own menus. I had gone to the bathroom, come out and sat down to realize we still hadn’t been greeted. That’s when I looked over and saw the bartender video gambling with the one other customer in the restaurant. She then proceeded to empty her own food in the back, come back out and STILL not acknowledge us. Some other guy finally came in after we’d been there for over 10-15 mins now and chased her down just to get himself a beer. Unfortunate experience because it looks like a really cool place. So, I'm here a lot...a lot, a lot since we go for hockey. While the food is great, love the chef and bartender Jeff. They lost their best employee, Jordan, and I'm not happy. Jordan is the coolest bartender there. Management is terrible. I have spent tons of money at this bar, and I continually ask them to stock a team favorite seltzer and Jen refuses. She keeps ordering crap. Let me know why I should keep spending here if they won't order what the customers want, AND when they force the best employee out? Obviously, will continue to eat but my tab is going to shrink since their drink offerings suck (and thus they will make less money). Do the math. Nutrl,...
