Sign outside says all employees and customers are required to wear a mask! Ok, its the times. I put my mask on and go in. The girl behind the cash register has her mask 1/2 on....the girl on the phone has no mask on at all, I understand talking on the phone with a mask on is hard, but she wasn't even wearing it 1/2 on. The owner/manager setting out small tubs of to-go sauce had no mask on. So I take my mask off. Place my order. The girl behind the cash register asks if I would please put my mask on. I said sure if i can wear it like your wearing yours. She kinda grins and then puts her mask on. Mgr/owner never says anything, nor does she don a mask. So I git my change, it will be 10 or so minutes for your order to be ready. Ok, want me to wait in my truck, yes please. Ok, will you bring my order to my truck when its done. Manager/owner speaks up, well you can come back in to get it. Now I've placed an order, paid for it, and have been asked to wait in my truck. So why can't you bring my order to my truck which is less than 10' away from the door? I said well how about the drive-thru window....manager/owner says that will be fine. So, ok, not much on Customer Service in my opinion! If I gotta wait in my truck and ya can't bring it to me, do you really want me coming back in to git it? Sign on the door says only 3 customers at a time. So if there's a line or wait, is my food gonna git cold? So I go to the drive-thru window and wait. I git my food. The girl at the window gives me my food, I say Thank you, she says your welcome, but alas she is not wearing a mask! So if the owner/manager is going to require employees and customers to wear a mask while inside the business shouldn't the following happen?
Food was good......Customer Service...
Read moreate here for the first time today, will NOT be my last. i wish i had taken pictures of my food but i was simply too busy enjoying it. i ordered grilled shrimp with crab rice and a side of garlic butter. everything down to the sauce on the table was absolutely delicious. the crab rice is very unique to me, i’ve never seen or had that as a side. the rice was cooked perfectly, the seasonings were so well matched with the vegetable and crab in it. the shrimp were large and the texture was perfect, the flavors absolutely melted all together. the garlic butter is the best i’ve ever had from a seafood restaurant. there was such a nice portion of shrimp, usually places only give you 3 when they’re as large as these are but they give you 8 and the perfect portion of rice. my whole table was so happy with all of their orders, they all got and loved the teriyaki sauce and shrimp. the whole lobby is so cozy and welcoming as the staff has created a warm environment. the staff is attentive and friendly, they really make the experience even better. the chef came out to check on everyone’s satisfaction with her food and it’s always so nice to see who’s making your food. i will definitely be coming back and recommending this restaurant to...
Read moreI had my first C&C Crab Shack experience today after hearing so many great things about this restaurant. Needless to say, I was super excited to dig in. I ordered the shrimp and crab combo with the garlic butter sauce. I think some extra seasoning was added as well, since the sauce was red. It seemed cajun seasoning, which is what I love. I don't know if it was an off day or this is their normal, but my plate was pretty small. My crab leg was literally a mini crab leg. I was so shocked to see it. Two of those would have equalled one typical sized cluster, but I was only given one. The corn on the cob was very chewy, my potatoes didn't taste fresh, and my sausage didn't seem done. The food was also very salty. I love seasoning and salt, so when something is salty to me, then that's saying something. I was disappointed, but I will give it another try as there seems to be so much hype around it. Early afternoon probably wasn't a good time to go. My friend let me try their crab rice and that was really good. I would definitely order that. That's a unique dish to serve and they did that...
