The Back Room Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Agawam

Was recommended by 2 friends and I honestly have nothing negative to say besides the seating is a bit small (but absolutely DO NOT let this stop you!!!) The food is just about the best food I've ever had in the area. Home made just about everything! You can actually taste how much they care about their guest and their experience. The drinks are out of this world very modern but they are always ready to accommodate vintage and original styles, the tap list is very well spread and very tasteful. From apps to entrees this place will definitely have something for everyone and lots of it for an amazingly reasonable price for the quality and amount you receive! I'm honestly upset with myself for waiting over 6 months to try this amazing hidden gem and will be recommended it to anyone looking for an amazing meal provided by just as amazing quality staff! My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience last night at the Back Room. Erica and Carmen waited on us as a team to give us the absolute best service we've ever had. We had the 8 piece wings with bourbon sauce which were so tasty. Then my husband had the steak & cheese flatbread and I had steak & cheese (without the flatbread) in a bowl. I try not to eat much bread and pasta so I was very happy that they could accommodate my request. It was by far the best tasting steak & cheese that we have ever had! When Erica was busy with other customers, Carmen checked in with us to make sure everything was good and see if we needed anything else. December 2021: Came back here for our second time. The place was packed when we arrived and we were told there would be an hour wait for a table so we sat at a couple of open seats at the bar while we waited for a table. The bar service was excellent and the drinks that we ordered were great. As soon as a table opened up, we were seated (much less time than the one hour). Go an appetizer, we ordered the crab cakes. For the main dishes, we ordered the steak and a Greek salad with shrimp. Everything was absolutely delicious and service throughout our stay was excellent.
