Helab Creamery & Café — Restaurant in Aguada

I hope this is helpful, I do want to point out this is based on my experience and it's my opinion. I went with my family and the first thing I noticed was how they are very much in theme with their name, very creative. My family and I had only ice cream. The flavor was good but in all honesty I was expecting a bit more and I don't mean the portion we were served (although for the price maybe add a topping). I mean elaborate a bit more. It's an ice cream lab. Another thing that stood out was how we weren't even greated or given instructions on how to locate the menu. It was our first time and wanted some communication for the girl but received none. Overall it was ok, will I return? I'm not sure. Do I recommend? Ummmmm... sure, I guess, but Rex cream is across the street so it's a tough decision. ...

First time visiting. My daughter had gone for ice-cream previously and she liked it. We went for breakfast after visiting other places that morning but were full. We had cappuccino's and started with an order of bruchettas, which were delicious. My kids ordered sandwiches that came in a rosemary ciabatta bread, placed in the oven, not pressed. They loved it. I tasted a piece of the bread and it was very tasty. My wife and I had frittatas. She had the seafood one and I had the all meat. They come in a cast iron skillet and are baked and it stays nice and hot. I would have like mine with a sausage white gravy. Maybe next time. The service and attention to detail were great. Prices are on the mid high side, but the menu gives the prices. I would go again for ice-cream next time, as I was too full...

Bottom is expectation top is reality basically. I ordered this item. I said I wanted it in a cup but with a waffle cone on top. This photo is after I've removed the waffle cone and eaten a bit. So you can thoroughly see how blended it is. What's the point of putting a brownie in it? The proportion of ice cream was normal. I was upcharged for the waffle cone. But I was not giving my brownie or the cookie. Wasn't really great. Whatever Brownie was in there was blended thoroughly. So I might as well have been eating chocolate ice cream.
