Cinco de Maya — Restaurant in Aguadilla

We had a wonderful time at Cinco de Maya in Aguadilla! The atmosphere was vibrant, the food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly courteous and professional.

The birria tacos were packed with flavor, though they leaned more towards carnitas-style rather than the traditional Mexican birria taste. Nonetheless, they were absolutely delicious. The elotes were also a standout—perfectly seasoned and mouthwatering!

Service was a bit slow due to a mix-up with our order, but our server was upfront about the issue, and the manager handled it with great professionalism, offering both an apology and a small treat. We truly appreciated their honesty and hospitality.

Cinco de Maya Aguadilla offers standard Mexican fare in a fun, modern atmosphere.

The nacho libre carnitas were fantastic, and the chipotle and jalapeno sauces they have on the side enhance the nachos tremendously. The chipotle in particular is very sweet and pairs well with the flavors in the nachos. The birria chimicganga was delicious and filling, as was the pollo chimicganga. I prefer the birria, but both are great options. The churros & cajetas dessert is a must-order. It can easily be shared by 2-3, and it's what cinnamony dreams are made of.

got to try Cinco de Maya, for Mexican food it was a 8/10, it’s more so more modern Mexican than it is authentic, beautifully decorated, SO vibrant and colorful like the culture 🩵💙💛🧡❤️💚, it was very busy so the service wasn’t the best but other than that, food was good and drinks were okay, had ordered a couple drinks that said they had tajin rims (which is my favorite) but each drink came out without it :( food was overpriced for what it is, 2 tacos for 15.99$ seems a little overdone, but overall good...
