This place looked new, like they’re still setting up some things, so I want to rate with grace and respect.
The atmosphere looks great and has potential, I can tell that they’re still stocking on items and I do like the direction it’s going in. The fridge and pastry counters don’t have a lot of products, and I hope that as the add more that everything is locally sourced.
The prices are a bit higher than expected, and would be fair if presentation of the platters took an extra step by adding garnish and toppings. We had the Campana breakfast platter that came with bacon, French toast, hash browns and eggs- it was delicious. Their pasties were yummy but it wouldn’t hurt to add some vanilla/nutmeg/brown sugar to add more flavor. The coffee was a bit expensive but it does the job!
I can’t wait to see how this restaurant continues to grow and expand! It’s not so much a restaurant and more of a colmado. Don’t be an asshole and leave your plates and trash on the table, I know your mama...
Read moreThis place has a lot of potential but unfortunately our experience wasn’t so good. When we arrived we noticed fresh food on the counter, the food was for other customers waiting to eat outside and it just sat there for a good five minutes and nobody told them their food was ready or brought it to them. We also wanted to wait outside so we had to constantly go back inside to check if it was ready. When we did get our food my waffles and eggs were ice cold but my wife’s food was warm. The prices are way too high for anyone except tourist. $30 for breakfast it’s cheaper in NYC. To top that off they only give plastic knifes and forks that could barely cut through my hard waffles. The service is super slow we waited at least 20 minutes for our food and we had to go back inside because they forgot some desserts we ordered. The coffee is the only thing i would recommend as it...
Read moreI haven’t been back for four years to La Campaña. Something drastic has happened. The service was not as warm and pleasant as I remember. The signature sandwich, La Campana, was served in old bread and. Rumbled before I could bite down on it, and was dry. If I wasn’t so hungry I would’ve returned it. The bathroom was filthy and there was no toilet paper. I cleaned my own table and the tables were not cleaned after customer use, the garbage bin had four cups and dishes around it; was I suppose to help out? The main counter to pick up my coffee was dirty and the island decor placed there needs immediate cleaning.
I know the owner is not aware or he would run the business himself. Please come back to your glory before I return again. I believe in giving...
