El Criollo Sandwich Aguadilla — Restaurant in Aguadilla

Was very unhappy with my sandwich. I got the pastrami and corned beef XL spent 10$ on the most over seasoned thing I've ever ate. I was starving and it was late 940 everything was about to close . But OMG when I say I can't believe how much salt was on that meat . Disgusting. I was starving so I tried to force as much down but not even a 1/4 quarter of it my taste buds would take of it🤮🤮🤮 and very sick I got afterwards all night.. I seen a few people giving it great reviews, they recommended anything pastrami . They said the best hands down. It was really awful and it's too bad because the employees seemed very nice to me . I had to give 3/4 of the sandwich to some homeless dogs on the street Even they didn't eat the whole thing I don't know if it was a mistake by a new employee or something but holy cow the worst sandwich I've had since coming to Puerto Rico 3 years ago by far! Like the top fell off the salt shaker and she just didn't want to make another and served me it with 25 tablespoons of salt . Yuk yuk I don't recommend it based on that experience I know I will never be back with so many great options for food in that little area there your best off going elsewhere to...

Not a typical restaurant (by American standards), but a normal eating locale like those found inland; geared more for locals than tourists. You order and you go pick up the food. Great flavor, very good costumer service, and cleaned. The beefsteak sandwich is on point!!!, just like the ones I used to eat at 3am out of a food truck when I was a younger on the way home after partying all night...Excellent!!! Little alcapurrias would not recommend since they were a bit saggy (but it tasted good). Food took about 10 to 15 minutes to be ready (we were a party of six), so again, really good timing. I wanna like this place since its a local restaurant but I gotta say the speed of the service was wayyyy to slow. The restaurant wasn't super busy, I ordered a pastrami sandwich combo and also a scramble eggs with toast and literally took them more than 25 min to make it. I really couldn't believe the amount of time to make something so simple like a sandwich and a egg with toast. That part was very disappointed as the waiting was unnecessary, also inside they need to remodel or do something different, it look like a old hospital cafeteria instead of a restaurant. food wise it was also ok, nothing major that will make me wanna go back. Something I could positive say it was the service was really nice, ladies were very sweet and polite.

Me hubiera gustado gustar este lugar ya que es algo local pero tengo que decir que la velocidad en el servicio estuvo muy lento. El restaurante no estaba ocupado y lo que ordené fue un sandwich de pastrami y un plato de huevos revueltos con tostadas y tomó más de 25 min en prepararlos. Deberas que no podria creer lo lento que fue el servicio para algo tan sencillo como un sándwich y un revoltillos con pan.
