I am confused by some of the negative reviews, but it seems most were written awhile ago so maybe improvements have been made since they were written. My boyfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The staff are taking many precautions to ensure cleanliness and safety during these ongoing COVID times. Mask-wearing compliance was excellent, temperature checks at the security gate at check-in and every time you enter the restaurant, hand sanitizer always available, and our room was so nice and clean. The bed and the sheets were super comfortable too. The shower was really nice (you just have to give the water a few minutes to heat up but there IS hot water!!). They give you plenty of towels, which is great for showering and being able to take towels out to the pool. We only stayed for two nights but they still offered to clean our room each day. The AC unit was awesome... as an American, I am very accustomed to AC so that was a big advantage for me. The pool is beautiful and we spent lots of time there. We ordered a few drinks during our stay and they were generous with the amount of alcohol they added, which is always appreciated. The restaurant was nice too, although I will say that we got tired of the menu by the end. Fish is probably the best option when you are at the beach, and I love fish, but even I got tired of eating so much fish at the end. It would be nice to have more vegetarian options (other than salad) but I know there may not be as many vegetarians in Guate compared to U.S. The mosquitos are TERRIBLE, especially at nightfall, and ate us alive during dinner the first night (they were so bad that we ate in our room the second night). For the love of God, bring bug repellant with you (or if you don't have it, you can buy it there in the lobby). Overall, a bit pricey, but worth it. Would...

Service is AWESOME. Everyone is so kind and courteous. 2 pools! So pretty. We weren’t able to use one of the pools because they’re still in the process of updating everything but it definitely was a nice view. The pool towards the back that we were able to use was pretty big and always empty so we had the entire pool to ourselves and that was awesome. Very attractive. Some rooms have small balconies it looks very fairytale-ish. There’s a lot of string lights and night time looks like a fairy wonderland. The wooden restaurant is cute as well. It’s very country looking. 10 min tops drive to many restaurants/stores. There’s Chili’s, Sizzlers, Wendy’s, frozen yogurt, McDonald’s, Church’s chicken, Burger King, marshals, Walgreens, etc. The beach is close by as well. We didn’t use it but I noticed they have a nice shuttle bus to the Marriott for the casino. Entrance/exit is monitored. (Excellent for safety purposes) Free parking is a plus.

Rooms are basic, beds are soft, nothing crazy modern, but comfortable nonetheless. The bathrooms are nice, spacious and full of light. Basic toiletries are included (but I’d suggest taking your own shampoo/conditioner, as the ones provided aren’t too kind to hair that’s been flopping around in the pool for a few hours, and lotion isn’t included). The blow drier is a bit outdated, it dries well, but if you’re picky I’d say bring your own. Rooms don’t have a fridge but there’s a small bucket for ice. The a/c is nice and cold. There’s clean towels and a floor mat, and front desk provides pool towels. There’s also a washer/drier that works with quarters.

I think I covered every topic.. I’d definitely stay here again!! My favorite hotel in...

Had an overall great experience. The place and room were impeccably clean and the green areas well-maintained. The pool areas were a nice and provided a relaxing environment. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a decent amount of space. What stood out to me the most was the exceptional customer service provided by the staff. They were not only friendly but also helpful. My mother is disabled, and they went out of their way to accommodate us by switching our room to an accessible one, which made our stay much more comfortable. The hotel's location is convenient, being close to a mall, restaurants, and pharmacy, making it easy to access shopping and dining options. Although I didn't use the hotel's restaurant services, it's good to know they have them available. I found pricing to be reasonable, with rates ranging between $100 and $130 per night. It's certainly a great value all things considered. During our stay, we encountered no issues or inconveniences, and everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend this hotel to others, especially if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and accommodating place to stay. I would definitely consider staying here again...

This was a very nice stay on our visit around the island. Definitely not fancy but rooms are great. Comfortable beds, clean, nice room, bathroom supplied with nice products…the staff is super friendly and helpful. Pool is small but pretty. The night we stayed the pool was full of loud kids so we didn’t go in. I guess there’s a restaurant bar but because we are here on President’s holiday wknd it is closed till Wednesday which is disappointing, but the front desk assistant recommended a nice restaurant less than a mile up route 107. We were pleased with our stay and recommend for its pricing, friendliness of staff and comfort of rooms.
