Edit- upgrading last couple times I’ve went the food quality and service has greatly improved. Dining in at the bait shack is no frills and cozy.

Support local business if you can. My only complaint is that fish information is not available. I want to know where it was sourced, farmed or wild caught. Would be nice to see this information upfront. The main draw here is the low-country broil. Just make sure you get spicy... hot isn't really hot in my view.

edit - Updated review dropped 2 star for customer service. This location is OK but oftentimes I feel like the staff could care less about customers coming in and just wants to rush them out. If I'm the only customer how about making small talk once in a while? This is a local place not some corporation. Forming relationships with customer should be at your forefront of your business model. That said food is still good so 3...

We had ordered low country boils, mine with crab legs and cajun spicy. My wife ordered hers with garlic butter. Thinking it would have flavor she said hers were bland. I was stationed in the gulf, in Mississippi for almost ten years. I learned about Cajun foods and spices. Unfortunately for here, this is NOT Cajun spicy. When the boil was finished its like the just dumped Cajun seasoning or slap yo mama seasoning on it to call it spicy. What they should do is add crushed cayenne pepper to the boil while it is boiling. That's the REAL Cajun way. My ex wife is Cajun her family taught me right. Don't get the Cajun spicy if you come here because if you have had real Cajun you will be...

JC's is a great discovery. 👍 We had a LowCountry Boil with so much delicious shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn on the cob. I felt as if we were on a little vacation. You order the fresh ingredients and then sit in a water-cooled, enclosed patio. Kyle was great and helpful. Can't wait to go back. 🍤🦀🐟🥔🌭🍋 If you love seafood & a bucket of cool ones 🍻, live anywhere near Aiken, and have not gone to JC's Seafood on Whiskey, Well, you're missing out. #H💙ME

The saying about hole in the wall restaurants being a hidden gem couldn’t be more true when it comes to JCs. Everything tasted fresh and was rich in flavor. You have the option to pick and match what you want in your boil so I added clams, crab legs and shrimp. This was more than enough to feed two with leftovers and all at a good price. The atmosphere was inviting and very clean. 100% recommend you stop by!
