Im a server here and I am also the owner’s daughter. Over the past two year, my dad and my mom have worked so hard for this restaurant. My dad spending time his time from: changing menus to meet peoples wants, spending late nights making sure it’s clean, actually connecting with customers, making schedules, making sure he does everything he can to make customers happy, to making the food good, working day and night making sure people have a good time when they come in to jdubbz. My dad/ The owner of Jdubbz is one of the most hard working people I have seen. My dad is not like other business owners, My dad is kind and patient when it comes to mess ups or hate or anything of that sort and those don’t happen often. Also I would like to say something on behalf of the servers that work for Jdubbz, We thank you for being patient when we are busy and we thank you all for coming in. Sometimes we might make a mistake, mistakes do happen. We are humans after all. Just please don’t have hate towards us because of it. We try our best every time we come into to Jdubbz. Now. The food is good and I eat the food and I’ve eaten it since it’s been open. Also to all the haters, you don’t have to say anything. you can go on about your business and jus not return, it is that easy. And for all the customers, we love y’all all so much! Thank you for supporting us and coming out! We are so grateful to have a...
Read moreThis is one of those places I have to think about, before rating it. In the name of full disclosure, I live in Cedar Creek, and as many know, we are a friendly bunch. We get together and we talk. There's been a lot of talk about JDubz. Some good, some not so good. Giving credit where it is due, I seen several responses from the management addressing positive AND negative comments. I have to respect that. So, high marks for management. My wife and I have been talking about trying "that new place". Last week we did. We had pizza. It was good. Mine was the meat pizza, my wife had one of those pizzas offered for ladies. (I say that out of respect). She had two wines. I was driving so I had ice tea. (This is a habit I only recently acquired). She also asked for a water, for which we were charged $1.50. in general, the prices were a bit high, but not as high as some of my friends had hinted to. Dead heat on the prices. The food was good. I usually go for thin crust, but they seem only to have "crust" . But I admit it was good crust. The toppings were generous.. High marks for food. So, all things considered, this place is worth it's place on my short list. Next time I'll try the wings. You owe it to yourself to give this place a go. If you have suggestion, the management seems to be willing to consider it. They may not follow it, but I believe they will give it a...
Read moreI ordered a sausage and cheese calzone, and the Mac and cheese bites with a sweet tea.
I'm going to be critical with my review because I know how the business/food industry works. I went to college for Culinary Arts. People might dislike me for my review and that's fine. I want every business to grow, especially a small business. I hope you flourish and get better
Needs to be worked on:
Mac n cheese bites tasted like kraft Macaroni and cheese. Not sure if these are homemade, but if not, I would change vendors. Artificial/box flavor.
The pizza dough seems to be pre bought or something. It tastes funny, like it had been siting. Not sure, it doesn't taste fresh.
They ran out of lids for their drinks, which is unsanitary and unsafe. I hope you guys take better care of your inventory from now on. I understand you're new and you're unsure of your forecast of customers.
To go box was extremely flimsy and was not put together correctly.
The sauce tastes store bought. I'm not sure if it is and it might not be, but there's something throwing it off. Not sure if it's canned tomatoes or what.
Even though my experience was not 100%, I'm still going to leave a good review. I hope you read this with care and not ill intent. I wish you guys nothing but the best and I hope to try...
