Absolutely the worse ran Mcdonalds I have ever been too. It's like this, this is the absolute LAST time they get our business. Every way they can to cut corners. My wife doesn't like mcd's biscuits as it is. So she orders hers on a bun. I worked for McDonald's years ago and was trained by proper corporate McDonald's. As an opening managers responsibility to turn everything on, even bun toaster, steamer, and milk shake machine. We are heading to the beach for the day, so for the final time we stop in drive thru with our grand daughters. The girls ordered chicken biscuits and hash browns, I ordered 2 sausage, egg cheese mcgriddles. My wife ordered two sausage biscuits on a bun. We were informed they didn't have buns ready they were just pulled out of the freezer. I'll come back to that in a minute. So she then asked for 2 breakfast burritos. At 8 a.m. in the morning no burritos. Another point to get too in a minute. So in frustration she went to a regular sausage biscuit. We get to the first window, so I ask the older lady that always works drive thru pay window. "When did Mcdonalds switch to frozen buns as far back as I remember in my 50 years it was always FRESH buns delivered twice a week? She kept saying the just got pulled from the freezer. After the third time me asking because she APPARENTLY had NO clue the difference between fresh and frozen i gave up and said forget the question. We get to the window they ask us to pull forward waiting 30 seconds for hasbrowns. For those who dont know from order to window is supposed to take 3 minutes. This is why I normally tell them I'm not pulling forward, especially if I'm the only car in line. At this point we were. The pull you forward to cheat their timer. If the times are under 3 minutes they get bonuses. The timer reports on the daily reports that go to the main office. Until the last couple of years the presenter is supposed to fold the bag top to help keep heat in the bag. Now, they throw everything in the bag not caring sandwiches come unwrapped. Rushing the bag out the window like they are playing hot potato. We stop at the Phoenix gas station across the street. My granddaughters start eating their chicken biscuits. Come to find out they are spicy mcChickens not regular normal mcchickens like they are supposed to be. Obviously too spicy for an 8 year old and a 6 year old. Their hash browns were not fresh at all. Unlike what were told. Both my mcgriddles were partially unwrapped. My first mcgriddle, the cheese was cold, the frozen microwaved folded egg was still cold in the middle, the mcgriddle cakes were obviously microwaved and NOT hot and fresh out of the oven like their supposed to be. The sausage over stayed it's welcome in the holding tray in the warmer. Another trick that is lazy and unsafe. Is the fact the sandwich makers and grill cooks reset the timers on the warming stations to cut down on waste. Therefore customers do Do NOT get HOT fresh food. My next sandwich Another cold microwaved folded egg... guess what... bacon. NOT what I ordered. There is NO use complaining to the management staff, they always say I'm sorry next time we will do better. No they won't. Now let me tell you about the so called broken ice cream shake machines. Do you ever notice one day you might get a shake next day it's broke down. It's because the closing managers responsibility is to make sure it gets drained, cleaned, and back together nightly. Over night it gets filled with water to do a heated clean cycle. The next morning the opening manager is supposed to make sure it gets drained, refilled and tested before opening. Another fail on NON COPPORATE ran franchises. You can tell a corporate mcdonalds between a franchise owner. Corporate ran does not screw up as often and tge food right and Fresh. For instance folded eggs used to be cooked on the grill not microwaved, there were enough burritos made at open for the entire breakfast time. Timers are honored not cheated. If a mystery shopper came through without notice these owner operators would lose their...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I NEVER leave a bad review unless my experience was absolutely horrible and that’s unfortunately the experience I had yesterday at the McDonald’s in Clearwater. I stop by this McDonald’s quite often since I pass it after picking up my kids from school. This was the first and last time I have used curbside. I placed my order within the app ten minutes before I arrived. Once I arrived, I parked in my spot & entered in the number I was parked at. The app told me it would be 2-5 minutes before my order was brought out. 10 minutes go by and I was being patient because I knew it was busy since school let out not long before. I waited another 10 minutes and then the app said my order was brought out. Thinking that meant they were in the process of bringing it out, I continued to wait. At this point, I have waited for 30 minutes on a curbside order and the app said they delivered my order to me 10 minutes ago. I had two kids in the car who were hungry and fighting at this point so I pulled around to the drive thru and had to wait even longer. When I finally reached the second window, I let the girl know I had been waiting for over 30 minutes for my curbside order and as I was explaining my frustration, she shut the window in the middle of me talking and started talking to someone behind her. I saw her grab my kids milkshakes I had ordered from a shelf and then she tried giving them to me. At this point, the milkshakes were completely melted and the whipped cream was completely melted on top. I asked her if they could please remake them since they were both obviously melted and had been sitting out and she shut the window in my face AGAIN when I was speaking and turned to talk to someone else. When she opened back up, she told me they had just been made. Clearly, there was no way they had just been made and were COMPLETELY melted and the whipped cream was barely visible since it had melted so much. I expressed my frustration and told her there was no way it was just made and asked to please remake those for my kids. Again, she shut the window and another girl came to the window and said the milkshakes were made when I was at the first window. I asked if they would remake them because I knew they had been sitting out and she said no. I took the milkshakes and let them know I did not appreciate the first girl being so rude and shutting the window in my face multiple times while I was talking and then to be given two melted milkshakes that had been sitting for over thirty minutes clearly and them refusing to remake them. The first girl who had shut the window in my face stepped forward and tried arguing with me and became defensive because I said she was rude for shutting the window in my face. She said she was talking to her manager, who literally watched the entire situation unfold and did absolutely nothing. They handed me my food and I left. My kids happy meals and my snack wraps were completely cold and awful. One of my kids couldn’t even drink his milkshake because he said it tasted bad being melted. It looked like chocolate milk. I have never had such a horrible experience with this location that I have always come to. The fact that I was literally at this McDonald’s for 45 minutes, had HORRIBLE customer service, food/milkshakes were terrible made me never want to come to this one again. I’m not sure who they’re hiring these days but the young girl at the window who had curly hair was very disrespectful and the fact that the manager was near by and knew everything happening and stood around instead of trying to make things right was not okay. I know several people who have had bad experiences here but this was my first time and I will not be...
Read moreDo yourself a favor and stop eating McDonald's. It's unhealthy, and it's certainly not worth the price for the low quality and what I suspect is low sanitary quality of food. The employees could care less about the customers which is evident in the fact that the majority of the orders I place are incomplete, including sandwiches that don't contain all of the components. Today I placed a mobile order for drive thru pickup which included coffee and I had to go into the store for creamer. There were a ton of wet floor signs around in the lobby, but the floor was so greasy that I was sliding on it. It clearly has not been mopped with actual water in quite some time if it's that greasy, but they're sitting wet floor signs around to avoid liability if someone slips. That's disgusting and inconsiderate. How quick would one of these employees be to sue McDonald's if their grandmother slipped on a greasy floor? Then, when I drank my coffee, I could tell from the taste of it that it was brewed without changing the coffee beans. The last thing I felt like doing was going back and arguing with employees. I've seen how things escalate nowadays and it's just not worth it. This was literally taking a financial loss and I just ended up brewing my own coffee at home, which I should have done to begin with. Whoever manages this location is exceedingly ineffective and should be fired along with the employees who are basically just collecting a check. Anyone this lazy deserves to only ever be able to work at McDonald's. But we don't have to keep giving...
