Sue's Grill — Restaurant in Aiken County

I ordered gizzards and livers..looked very good but as i was eating the gizzards i noticed they were very salty salty and some of the gizzards you know before you cook them you suppose to peel that green membrane or whatever its called out the back of the gizzard.....they didn't peel that part out so they wasn't cleaned properly and the steak fries were unseaoned cold and gritty to the chew....ordered my wife a patty melt whoever cooked it do not know what a patty melt is.....this was a burger put between 2 pieces of bread that was toasted in a toaster so the bread was hard like toast bread instead of a patty melt....another time i ordered 10 plain wings cause they dont know what a flavored wing is i had to take them home and put them in the oven because they weren't all...

I guess since there are not many places to choose from in this small town they get away with their lack of many things. Small town charm & manners for starts. Disappointed in how the gentleman spoke to me on the phone taking my order. I proceeded anyways to give a fair chance. Received my order. Subpar food. Small small portions for their prices. I expect to pay more for food when I eat out but I also know when it doesnt add up. The quality is poor and the food had no flavor. I had to salt and pepper and sauce it to death to finish it. The building interior leaves a bit to be desired as well but its doable for a small town diner joint. I wont return. If someone comes through with a true southern diner this...

First time eating here and placed an order to go the staff was super friendly, got home and realized I didn’t have a few items. Called to let them know and without hesitation they graciously drove to my house knowing I had little ones and it was dark to bring me the missing food! I wish I got the ladies name who came she was super sweet and what she did speaks volumes about this establishment. The food was great and we will definitely be eating there again! It’s restaurants like this that we need more of and not those corporate chain...
