Waffle House — Restaurant in Aiken County

On a saturday night upon arrival, there were two employees working the cook and one server. They had chairs blocking off most of the seating. Three available booths were filled up so we sat at the bar. The server did not greet us, Her behavior was as if she didn't even want to be there.. After five minutes of sitting at the bar, I said Is in a friendly manner "thank you for working tonight, May I ask your name and can we put on our drink order? " The server said her name was Jackie, and Took our order. Jackie dropped off our drinks. Three people walked in and put in a to go order. Jackie and the cook prepared thier order. Then Jackie simply walked out.. Ten minutes past, The cook said that she went out on a break. Twenty more minutes past, The cook apologized and said "we are short staffed and Jackie walked out and she hasn't come back." Leaving the cook who could not ring up the customer's . Thus not being able to proceed to cook our food. Needless to say, We were denied serice, we left hungry. Just wanted to leave an honest review, Jackie's lack of work ethic was truly disappointing. I wish her transmission failure on the freeway and may the fleas of a thousand camels infest her. To future employers, do not hire Jackie As she demonstrated job...

we get there and wait for a table to be cleared and it was busy so we didn’t mind the wait but why when we sit down one, the very awkward waitress started singing along very loudly and out of tone with the song playing overhead(that she put on through the jukebox at 9am) then proceeded to take my wife’s plate from in front of her while “asking” if she was done which she wasn’t and just snatched up the plate while my wife had half a sandwich in her hand but didn’t take my plate that I pushed to the edge of the table to clarify I was done obviously. Same waitress didn’t know how to check us out and manually entered our card number rather than just swiping it and when I asked why she entered the number she just ignored me. The girl honestly doesn’t seem fit for waitressing if she’s going to sing while taking plates from us that we aren’t even done with. The experience was definitely ruined between her putting on/singing and taking things off our table that we weren’t done with. But I don’t want the plate back again after you’ve picked it up. It’s nasty and rude. Will not be back at all. Hopefully the Whiskey Road...

Me & my husband came in for a very early morning breakfast. We sat down prepared to eat in . The waiter looked very worn out and I understood! We ordered our drinks and he brought them to us in to go cups. I thought it was weird considering we were eating in but it was whatever. I figured he just didn’t want to wash dishes. We ordered our food but we moved tables because that side of the restaurant was a little cold which was no problem. After the food was finished I seen they were putting everything in a bag in to go plates. So we paid but I went back in there because they forgot my cheese grits and the waiter stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and the waiter told the people behind me that the grill was down . They guy behind me came in to use the restroom and he asked the cook about the grill being down and the cook said it was not down. So therefore he just didn’t want to wait on nobody! That’s what it seemed...
