Arby's — Restaurant in Akron

I have to say...I am impressed! If you read some of my other fast food reviews you will see that I have been highly disappointed by the quality of service (and sometimes the food as well). But this experience has given me hope there are still places that are doing good for their customers.

Now to start off, this is a nice Monday evening, so it's slow. To be honest, there was no one here but the employees when I walked in. Maybe one car in the drive-thru BUT...

I walked in and was greeted promptly and enthusiastically by a sweet girl named Mira. I ordered the Bourbon BBQ Chicken sandwich with the Potato Cakes and a soft drink. After I ordered i went to bathroom and by the time I came out the order was ready. I was handed my order very nicely and professionally by another employee (I didn't see his nametag). Everything was hot and fresh, cooked and presented very well on a tray. Everything tasted great. As far as the store itself, it was near immaculate from the kitchen to the drink station to the dining room and the bathrooms (at least the men's). The staff all seem to be enjoying working together which adds to a pleasant environment. Highly recommend this location

ONLY complaint would be that the cheese wasn't melted enough, but based off the picture on the menu, that might just be my personal preference not anything...

Recently I've had every order ive gotten here missing something. No big deal things happen. But I placed an online order at 1145 and because I was scheduled to be there at midnight an hour before close it defaults to 10 am. Well the manager wqs not kind enough to make it for did not offer to cancel it and told me to bad. Figure it out tomorrow when the GM is here. So I did. They kindly refunded it and apologized for the employees not just making the 3 dollar sandwich and acting like sandwich gate keeper. They even offered a free sandwich on my next visit. Well the next night I went to redeem this sandwich with the instructions given to me buy the GM and the same rude manager that started all this told me I was banned from this location I'm nothing but a problem. I was embarrassed talked down to and treated as if I wqs a petty criminal. My grandfather and i have been coming to this location for 20 years and never been treated in such ride disrespectful way. Why would I not think this person might spit on my food or your food. Think about it for moment. I might never ever go back. She also continued to lie and tell me she's the head manager has no Gm And...

The girl working the drive thru and putting dine in orders together was awful. She had terrible attitude with every customer. Then I asked for them to remake my sandwichs which the bun was hard and there was maybe 4 slices of roast beef. They were classic cheddar. She then said she'd remake the one and asked in a rude snotty tone "so whats wrong with the other one" I said theres no roast beef cant you see that? She then said well they all have measured out amounts which is 3oz. And it was clearing like 0.5. Then slammed then down on the table. She gave us cold old potato cakes. So I said please make fresh ones. She turned around grabbed old ones from the batch threw them in the fryer, burnt them and handed me Those. Wow never have I had an awful experience at Arbys but ill never be back today location ever again. Its already pricey enough as it is for...
