Five stars all across the board five stars all across the board! This was the first time my mother and I tried this location, after hearing great things about it. As soon as I entered to place my order, I was greeted immediately with a smile. I ordered the fish and fries with an extra tartar sauce for the road. The employee who took my order was very informative and patient with me. She smiled the whole time and gave great conversation. The atmosphere was very clean and to my liking. She informed me that my food would not have a long wait and I proceeded to sit in the car as it cooked shortly after, she came out and handed me the food herself. I was very surprised because I am not used to this kind of courtesy but it warmed our heart. This shown proper and excellent customer service. I encourage everyone in the Ellet/Goodyear Hts/ Tallmadge area to patronize Leonardo’s. We have enjoyed their chicken dinners for many years, and I only recently learned how good their burgers are. I really like their cole slaw- more than most. Like all businesses , they have been struggling with staffing, and occasionally, a mistake happens in a takeout order. Still, they work hard to make things right and stay friendly and helpful in the process. Leonardo’s is an asset to the area, and I was recently told by a member of Akron’s city council that a new owner has taken over who plans to upgrade the building. My family has been ordering Leonardo's for probably 30 yrs way back when they across the street. So I order there weekly and on average my order 45.00. Recently we placed on of 42.00 we got uncooked leo burgers, when I called back they said and I quote "next time we will hook you up with some free food". So I figured I would give another chance and when I called of course nobody knew what I was talking about and there pizza isn't even close to what it used to for many reasons. Dough not fresh at all.
