North Hill Donuts — Restaurant in Akron

Sorry for such a late review but better late than no review at all lol. My family and I are new to the area, we recently moved here from Lorain County. One morning last month the kiddos wanted donuts for breakfast so I googled a location for Dunkin Donuts near us. So we got ready to head out to the closest Dunkin around. Well on our way I happened to glance over and seen North Hill Donuts so I told my husband let's check it out before we go to Dunkin. Omg it was the best decision I've made since we moved here lol such a huge variety to choose from and if u want a fresh donut this is the best place to go to in town. Not just the variety but the service we got from the very nice lady working that morning was wonderful. So we paid for a couple dozen and as we were leaving I asked the sweet kind lady what here name was so I could give a review lol come to find out she wasn't just a regular employee she was the owner. Now this is how u get returning customers and 5 star reviews and they are very well deserved. If ur in the area stop in try the donuts u will not be disappointed. Make sure u have cash on u if not no worries they have an atm in side. Thank u North Hill Donuts we will be returning soon. “COME OVA’ HERE! BEST DONUTS IN TOWN!” Lpuie’s donuts are something from a retro dream. They are bigger and better than the competition. What competition? Louie’s has the most delicious vintage treats hands down! Louie is old school charm and still makes you feel appreciated. This place is nostalgic and a place where I often walked from North High School decades ago/ sighing , ‘good times’,

Covid changed everything. . Currently, no one can sit at the table and read the paper drinking coffee (eyes misting up), it’s all roped off and Louie is still in his mask. I remember the ladies pouring fresh cups and swiveling on the greenish black bat stool. Ohhh, well. What ya’’ gonna’ do about it? . It’s like everything is fading, but not Louie! “This guy!!” I love this place These are the donuts you want to bring in to show off. From the super sized donut to the adorable pastel boxes; you feel extra cool, warm and fuzzy, and extremely loved when you stop in.

BEST DONUTS EVER!!! I WILL NEVER VISIT ANYWHERE ELSE AGAIN!!! First off, let me say the older gentleman who runs this place is the sweetest, kindest and most gentle soul I have ever met! He puts ALL the TLC into the donuts he makes. The amount of filling in these donuts will have you making a mess but an enjoyable one it will be😁 The jellycreme is my ALL TIME FAVORITE, the have the most delicious cruellers, and the apple pie one is melt in your mouth amazing too! It's never busy when I go, and I don't understand how he's not cleaned out every morning. Best value in Akron. Best flavor FOR SURE!
