The tacos, omg!! The best tacos I’ve ever had. It’s soooo so yummy! They have cabeza, lengua, and then also your regular tacos like chicken, al pastor, carne asada, carnitas, and so on. I’m telling you. These are some of the best tacos around. It’s so flavorful and spicy! The green sauce and red sauce are so good. They make the tacos fire, if you’re into spicy food. I always get a jarritos drink to go with my meal too. Wow, so good! 10/10. The only down side is that it’s a small area for sitting down, so if you come at lunch time, it gets pretty full. There’s also a little shop attached to the restaurant, where you can shop for some Latino goods. I get my hot sauces here. I love this place! Truly a hidden gem!! Yes, most employees only speak Spanish, but they still understand when you speak simple English and ask for what you need plainly.

This is one of the best places to get authentic street tacos. We used to go on a weekly or biweekly basis and have never been disappointed. My husband has been going here for a decade or more and I'm so glad he just happened to find it when he was at Jeff State!

I ordered 3 tacos and this is what I got the lady at the counter couldn't speak English and I had to call one of my Spanish speaking friends to translate because I was told they had great food but never again.

I'm a gringo, but I grew up in AZ, so I have a very picky palate when it comes to eating Latino food. My first rule is, the clientele should be mostly latino (not a bunch of Brookies). The second is, it should be inexpensive. This meets both those rules. As a bonus, their marketplace is well stocked (they have Manzana Lift in the glass bottle, Abarrotes anyone?) and their butcher is amazing. Still the only place I know of in the ham that sells cured chorizo on the counter top. If you don't buy a lb to go, you've wasted your time. This place is as authentic as it gets, and classy in a no frills and savory kind of way. If you're not from Tarrant: If you go to Jeff State, this should be your go to Mexican place. If you're driving to Guntersville for the weekend, this should be your place to pick up carne y cervesa. El sabor mas authentico...

We stopped by for lunch on yest. We were surprised to see the buffet and the grocery was pa ked to capacity. We had tacos and old skiol sodas. I ordered the chicken quesadulla for.my daughter to go. You csm get yours ides as rice and beans or fries. They also stayed true to the original owners and continue to sale the huge burgers and sammiches they We famous for. You can dine in or take out and def enjoy the buffet. The grocery has fresh meats, fruits and veggies and all the staples you need for home. It's worth the trip!! Sorry no...
