You go to one of these Chinese takeout places and you have a gold standard in mind. You know what you're wanting, and you're able to discern whether your expectations are not met, or even if they are exceeded. That is how I will judge and talk about this place.
I got some takeout just as all the restaurants starting opening up again, and the distancing measures taken here were absolutely wonderful. Huge plexiglass shield between me and the kitchen, only enough hole space to insert my card into the machine, and a double door pulley system for them to enter your food into, close their side of the space, and then open my side of the space to grab my food. Genius. I loved it.
I ordered a couple of egg rolls, solid.
I ordered a quart of the House Special Fried Rice, excellent. They packed my box to the brim and beyond the brim, and the meat-to-rice ratio was impressive. I loved it.
I ordered a special combination with the Sweet & Sour Chicken, which comes with an egg roll and pork fried rice, solid.
Finally, I ordered a house special, the Four Seasons (Beef, jumbo shrimp, white meat, chicken, roast pork sauteed with mixed vegetables in a house special sauce). This was truly excellent. The main thing is that the shrimp weren't overcooked, impressive. And the mixed veggies were delicious, smothered in that sauce. Even the broccoli was good, and we all know how unimpressive broccoli is.
Overall, this place certainly exceeded my expectations. I was really pleased with the distancing strategies they employed. And I got a really nice meal. Thank...
Read moreNot sure what is the deal with this establishment. But on one hand it seems to be a Chinese take out and on the other it appears to be a nail salon. The partition wall goes up about 8feet but the ceiling is about 12 feet or there about. I believe there are hygiene guidelines for this kinda thing. Maybe needs looking into.
Anyway business propriety aside, what’s up with the food? The vegetables seems they have just seen the ravages of war, mangled and hacked with multiples fiber and strings connecting shreds and pieces and the shrimp was definitely uncooked.
Maybe I caught them at a bad time, maybe the nails business was occupying their time. Who the heck knows these things anymore. Needless to say I was not impressed in the least. There is a number of uncooked shrimp laying in the trash can nearby is anyone wants to know. I took my chances with the white rice and broccoli, if anyone asked I was just too hungry.
Cheers, and good luck...
Read moreOk so first I called to place an order for delivery. The lady informed me that they do take out only and before I could say anything she hung up on me, so I call back. After I said my first meal I wanted, she says.. anything else? So I told her my second meal and again she said, anything else. She said this after everything I said. Now, I ordered shrimp lo mein, I literally got 4 little shriveled up shrimp. My son got sweet and sour chicken, the amount of sauce was literally just enough to cover the bottom of the litter styrofoam container. The egg rolls were disgusting. I don't care if you own your own business. Hanging up on people in not ok, rushing your customers is not ok, not giving them a price at the end of their order is not ok, not getting their name for pickup is not ok, not giving them what YOUR CUSTOMERS paid...
