Joyous Life Given for this bread And meat sensation That is Bacon Cheeseburger
As close to perfection as making it at home, with immaculate construction. The new owners have really hit a home run with the Chef, John. He treats every burger with care bordering on obsession, and still cranks them out in 3 minutes, faster than fast food. Consistent to perfection.
Burger shown is double patty add fried egg and bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheeseburger no onion $10
The bacon is made fresh every day and is never stringy or burnt too crispy. The burger is fresh not frozen, which makes a huge difference in the texture and cook of the patty. The American cheese is not too thin or thick, and doesn't disappear or overwhelm the burger. The spread condiment doesn't soggy out the bun, but is proportionate to the other ingredients. The lettuce is chopped, not leaf, and is always fresh and crisp. The tomato and onion are noticeably crisp and fresh. I could not make a better burger myself, and I've had 30+ years of practice. The attention to freshness and quality of preparation is a fundamental necessity for successful food service. They aren't cutting corners, and they still provide affordable burgers at a gourmet level of quality. This is outstanding in today's restaurant industry, and KBurger is hittng it out of the park. I've had over 15 bacon cheeseburgers since March 10th, and every one of them has been on point or better. I eat there 5x a week, and sometimes 6. It's 40$ for 5 dinners. Better than grocery and cooking and cleaning at home. The fries are excellent, and the portion is medium to large, but at $4.50 a pop, that would blow my budget. Onion rings won't be salted unless you ask for it, but they are golden perfection. Shakes are made with soft mix and and real ice cream and milk. And they have a wand mixer, so it's well emulsified. Superior to the previous shakes, but still noticeably soft mix style. Isaiah puts forth great attention in the preparation, and seems to really want to make a great shake every time. There's a big dining room, if you chose to eat in. No music, no games, just a place to sit and eat in peace. Table service, they bring it out to you. If you smile at the them, I'm sure they'll smile back. Always friendly, but then maybe so am i, if given...
Read moreThere are just two guys running the place when we went (father/son duo?). So it took them about 10-15 minutes to acknowledge us up front waiting to order while they finished preparing a few orders ahead of us.
Pretty expensive fountain soda to not offer any refills on it
The burgers we got (raindeer (their spelling on the menu) and bacon cheese burger) were solid greasy burgers that tasted good. There really wasn't much reindeer sausage on the hamburger to speak of.
My friend got the halibut. At first it looked pretty good with four decent size pieces of fish with fries. However, the fish batter they used was absolutely disgusting. DO NOT get this item here. It was gritty and had a really bad taste with the fish. I hope it was out of the freezer how bad it was. I am not one to complain, but this was bad. I couldn't even take the batter off the Fish to salvage it because the grittiness of whatever was in the batter was in the fish and it was complete garbage. We threw away 3.5 out of 4 pieces of fish because it was bad.
I would go back for the hamburgers but I'm not trying anything outside of the hamburgers again. Not sure I can get my friends to go back...
Read moreI went here and the food was all very fresh. I should have gotten some of the K wings because that is probably one of the best things on the menu. So that's what I will try next time. When we got our food the owner came out from behind the grill and chatted with us for a few. Just the experience and how warm and welcoming the owner was willing make me go back. Try this place out as the guy just bought this place not long ago and you can feel the passion he has. Oh all the buns are made in house same day. His vegetables are also very very fresh. Last thing is he does everything to keep the cost down. Even though prices are increasing he is always trying to find his items at the lowest prices to keep his food prices low.
Thank you we will definitely...
