First off, this is the main crab spot in town. It's expensive, but if you're dying for crab and don't mind the price, then come here. If you're on a cruise ship, you're better off going to Tracy's in Juneau. The venue looks nice and new which is cool. The wait staff seems new and untrained. They'd do better if they had more or larger signs for the restaurant for cruise passengers coming off the ship. I wouldn't have known it were there had I not looked at Google maps prior. Price is hefty for small portions. While the king crab was more on the medium size, it was also super sweet. The dungeness crab on the other hand was rather bland. The hush puppies were cooked nicely and went well with the sweet butter. The Cole slaw was standard and good. The smokey clam chowder was good with nice chunks of clam, but nothing world famous. I like the fact that this place is locally run and a fishermen's coop. That being said, I'm rather disappointed with the bland dungeness and expected much sweeter and fresher crab. The portions for having spent nearly $200 was rather small as well.

Pricy, but worth it. Had the crab macaroni and cheese, a side of fries, and a huckleberry margarita. The mac & cheese was very creamy, and while it wasn't "loaded" with crab, there was a reasonable amount. And it was definitely fresh. Yum! [Although Google only gave me the option to "recommend" the fries, I'd also "recommend" the mac & cheese to anyone who likes a good creamy mac & cheese.] The fries were nicely done yellow potato fries, soft but crispy outside, not overdone. The server was attentive, kind and knowledgeable (the fish I saw through the windows, jumping out of the water outside in the bay, were apparently most likely pink salmon). Food came quickly and was well cooked. The atmosphere was nice, and not overly crowded, surprising considering our cruise ship had just recently docked [likely, folks were taking the shuttle into town and not hanging out around the dock]. I was seated almost immediately and able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view.

Stopped here after sight seeing from our cruise ship vacation. Service wasn't to bad, business was slow but due to the season ending but our waitress was sweet and helpful! Food wasn't half bad, halibut fish and chips was good, crispy and flakey but $33 for 4 halibut nuggets and 2 hand fulls of fries is a joke!! The prices are way to high for little food! The clam chowder had good flavor but was nuke warm at best after waiting 25 mins to be served when we were the only party there. Beers were beers, can't complain there but the prices are very high and that says alot for alaskas already high prices. If there going to charge that much for there food then make sure food is hot and portions are plentiful for the new season! I wouldn't highly recommend this place but if you were starving, it's something to eat. 7/10 over all

Just went to this and had to leave - one of the worst service we encountered - We have kid with us who fell a asleep on his stroller, and we found a corner table just got vacant literally next to the table we got seated on, so we asked the front if we can move our table to the corner to put my baby’s stroller on the side out of the walking way from the middle. The person in the front along with another staff said yes that’s fine to do and cleaned up the table so we can move.

The elderly lady who’s table we got moved into- basically came back and literally yelled at us saying why did we move? And it was her table and that it was childish behavior for us to move our table since we placed the order on the other table…

What ever the scenario was - the manager was no better in handling or even apologizing for the disgusting attitude of this staff member- he came and said what happened? and i told him what has happened and that the waitress just literally yelled at us and how rude they have been so far, we said we don’t feel comfortable eating anymore here with that kind of tone, he literally took the plate and said ok thanks.

Not making this up- this actually happened. 0 star isn’t an option or else would...
