Lalo's Pizza Take Out — Restaurant in Alaska

This place is a gem. We have lived nearby for over five years and in that time we have found no other place that has such consistent, delicious, fairly priced food. The pizzas are that perfect combo of crispy yet chewy crust, not greasy, and not too thick. Great zesty sauce. Toppings have always been fresh. No canned mushrooms here. The sandwiches are some of the best around. The meatball sandwich is huge and a real bread on top and bottom sandwich of a french roll cut half-wise with meatballs, cheese and sauce layered in between. I've had it twice and both times was impressed. Good meatballs! I've also had the Italian sandwich twice and I love it as well. Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Bologna and Mortadella baked with mozzarella cheese (would prefer provolone on this sandwich) and topped with lettuce and tomato with dressing. Get the double meat for two bucks, it is totally worth it and takes the sandwich over the top. Everybody loves a good Philly Steak Sandwich and Lalo's knows how to serve them up. Great french rolls, baked locally, with all the usuals. Nothing particularly different or trendsetting, this sandwich is still a solid go to when that craving strikes. So take it from somebody who has eaten here numerous times and have had nothing but a good relationship with their food...

Great timing, reasonable pricing, wonderful customer service and amazing tasting pizza!

They staff was very friendly and patient while I placed my order. The timing of service ( the amount of time it took for the pizza to be ready after placing my order) was very reasonable. When I got my pizza home it was still hot and fresh. They facility was clean and organized. The flavoring of the food met my expectations. I had mushrooms added on to half of my pie and they weren’t just thrown on top of the cheese once the pizza was done. A family owned business that brings great food for a good price, Lalos pizza is a good pick for a week night meal or a party order. The pizza tends to have a nice crisp crust and lots of flavor per bite. They do not deliver though, which does hurt them due to that. The chicken wings are average.
