1pm on a Saturday, with at most 3 people dining in - and I am waiting for the "General Manager" at the register to take my order. "I get off at 8, ready for the game" he is proudly going on to his staff about, while I wait for him to take my order. 4 times I told him the number to my combo, "Oh, you want a number 8"..."So, a number 8"... "Ok, a number 8, what size?" - Each freaking time I said "No, a number 2" to the point that I started raising my voice. At least, he heard the rest of my order and then I took my seat to dine in. 20 minute waiting and I decide to stand up and lean by the trash bin, taking a full view of everyone - from manager to cooks - leaning on the counters, phone in hand, scrolling away, with the exception being the person in drive thru actually working. The general manager who took my order, sees me, says "OOh, dang - Aye let me get that order" Points at me "You got your food yet?" I was done. The cook has gloves on, puts her phone in her pocket, wipes her gloved hand on her clothes, and starts assembling my food. Poor service, worse hygiene practices, I told my party that I was done with this, grab my receipt and demanded a refund. The manager kept his head down, suddenly able to hear and process a request without error, and completed the refund. I was asked "Did they apologize or anything?" "Nope they dont give a crap, I dont give a crap - Let's go"! , I responded while looking at the manager direction, who was ignoring us, while looking down.
10 years in restaurant service and I have a strong level of patience/empathy for customer service - but dang, after 40 minutes, they had me cursing every step of the way...
Read moreThis was our first time trying Jack’s and we chose the Marie Rd. location. This was our first and last time going. When we walked into the restaurant and up to the counter we were never greeted. At this point, the restaurant was not busy with customers at all. There were many employees working on this particular day. Two of which were an elderly couple who appeared to be management and were clocking out for the day. They walked right past us and never spoke a word/acknowledged us. We should’ve walked out right then. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered anyway. The cashier took our order, but couldn't count to give us the correct change. She gave us the wrong receipt. We stood waiting on our order and witnessed another customer come back twice to get her order corrected. We overheard one of the employees say that they didn't have most of the items on the menu in stock. The only food that they had prepared was one pan of cold chicken AND then more customers were starting to come in. After seeing that one pan of cold chicken we asked for a refund. A total mess! Talk about unorganized. For this to be a relatively new location the atmosphere, customer service and food was stale as ever. If I could give you all no stars I would. We were really excited to try Jack’s for the first time. We will try the Warner Robins...
Read moreI’ve never felt more disrespected or disgusted in my entire life. We stopped here around 5pm on Sunday to grab a quick dinner. We waited about 10 min inside for someone to acknowledge my wife and I at the counter, even though there were 2 workers standing there, not one of them even looked up. So we decided to go through the drive through instead. While we were able to place our order fast, we waited about 20+ min to get our food. No one even came out the window to say anything or sorry. Finally we got our food. We ordered 2 #5 cheeseburger meals. My wife opened the bag, and 2 of the burgers were freezing cold. The other 2 were ok, so we each grabbed one to eat. She took one bite and the smell of SEWAGE that was coming from the burger was BEYOND DISGUSTING that she immediately spit it out. I smelled it, and I’m sorry to say it literally smelled like someone wiped their behind with the top of that bun. Safe to say we decided to not eat any of our meal. I knew going inside to complain or ask for a refund would be ignored. Absolutely disappointed with lack of service or care and quality of food here. I WOULD NOT STOP HERE IF...
