KFC — Restaurant in Albany

I’ve been being disappointed by this place for years, but never a big enough deal to write a review until today. I ordered a bucket with a side of mash and gravy. So I got the bucket no sauces even after being asked what sauce I wanted and then I noticed there’s no mashed potatoes. So I’ve spent 40 minutes no bs in this line to not get everything I ordered. I check the receipt and they charged my for it but didn’t feel it necessary to give me. I park at the door and call them to let them know and see what I need to do to make things right. I asked if they could bring it out to me or if I could walk to the window and they said I’d have to go through the drive through again to get mashed potatoes that they charged me for and I didn’t get. When I ask if there’s anyway to avoid the 40 minute wait for something they should have given me in the first place the worker who answered the phone behind to get frustrated with me saying that if i would have checked it before pulling off then I wouldn’t have to go back through. So I’m expected to come spend money that they get paid off of and still be expected to do their job and get an attitude when I don’t want to let the rest of my order get cold simply because they dropped the ball and they’re mad at me for it. But this is just the most recent in a long line of disappointment from kfc Albany Georgia. I don’t want a refund or free anything from kfc, I just want to get the word out on what kind of operation they are running to hopefully save other people the disappointment I’ve dealt...

Quick review: Food was hot and fresh. Restaurant & staff not so much.

Detailed: Came in around 2-2:15 pm on a Monday, with no one working at the front counter. One young lady was working drive thru and counter both apparently, she made no attempt to greet or say I'll be right with you.

Three staff were gathered around back talking, saw me standing there and made no attempt to see what I needed. I was eventually recognized by young woman up front and placed my order.

After ordering, the food came up quick, though I had to ask for sauces and it seemed like I was bothering her to ask for them.

The drink station was out of product, I settled on something else and went back to find a table that wasn't too dirty or covered in crumbs.

The food was surprisingly good and came as quite the shock compared to how the rest of experience started.

KFC at this location in Albany, GA is alright. I had a few of the boneless nuggets that had bone in it and tasted awful. The rest of the nuggets were good though. The bone in chicken on the other hand was not good. It was very greasy and mushy in the breading. I had to take off the breading because it was so awful. The service on the other hand was great! The ladies were fantastic and always smiling and greeted me immediately whether I was in store or in the drive thru. But even though I gave it a 3 star, I still continue to get a few things from here that I know will satisfy me like the macaroni n cheese and the boneless nuggets (praying I don't get bone in them).
