Another Update: I'm not fond of receiving undercooked food. I'm also not fond of asking for something to NOT be included, and it be included anyway (don't care about price; just don't want to waste food). I'm also not fond of sitting, waiting, in a nearly empty restaurant mid-day, for all of the above. If I'm one of two guests in your restaurant, try and make an effort to be present with your customers. I ordered my drink, and food, as soon as I was allowed, and didn't receive my drink until they decided to serve my food, asking if I would like anything else: "Yes, please, the drink I ordered when I ordered my food."
No discount, just an empty apology. Because this isn't the first time this has happened, is it? Removing my two star rating, as I don't feel dislike is the word I'd like to use when trying to enjoy an overpriced meal, when the service accompanying it, is lackluster.
Update: Service has declined here significantly in the last few times I've been here. Whether a full restaurant or not, mix-ups keep happening when ordering meals without changes. The listening part of the bartenders job sometimes escapes her and you might not get what you ordered until someone comes around for you. I do understand not hovering on your customer...but if they don't HAVE a drink...at least ask them if they'd like the water they ordered 20 minutes ago?
I love the food here, but...gosh darn it...I'm tired of feeling like regardless of how busy they are, that my money is worth inexplicable neglect.
Original: I love the food, and the drinks, but even when they aren't busy the service is...lacking.
I've been three times and will never go for lunch as I just know I'll spend at least 50 minutes here. Have actually used a stopwatch to see how long it takes between service to the table on days/hours where there are four or five customers, and it still took 50 minutes for us to be served a single drink, appetizers and lunch. Three visits to the table, without consistency and we haven't really felt comfortable ordering a second round of drinks, considering the lack of time between service.
Food is spectacular and the drinks are tasty, just be diligent with your time as it's never a short visit.
Also, be mindful of what you order, as sometimes they have smaller portions if you're like me and want to try more than...
Read moreMore of a 4.8 star rating, there were a couple things that need mentioned. Don't put families with a baby at a high top table. The only place to put the car seat is up on the table. My son also thought our waiter was a little slow and scattered. I thought he just seemed busy, and he was very nice. As said, our waiter was really nice, and we appreciate great service. We didn't have to ask for anything, he was always on top of things. Food was fantastic, everyone liked what they ordered. We started with cowboy corn bites and cheese curds. Both were great, no complaints. Two had the bourbon burger, one had the smash burger, one had the pulled pork. I had the grilled cheese, minus avocado. My grilled cheese wasn't melted as nicely as I would have liked it. The tomato wasn't very ripe, so it was quite hard as I tried to bite into the sandwich. Everyone else loved what they ordered. Burgers were done perfectly and the BBQ sauce was a pleasant surprise. My husband always orders pulled pork wherever we go, and he said this was in his top 5. We all agreed the battered French fries were a hit, not greasy and not overly salted. Atmosphere was a little cramped. We were a party of five adults and one baby. We were set opposite of the long bar, at a high top. Not the ideal place to sit a family, especially when the table is only three feet from the patrons drinking at the bar. It was also an awkward fit whenever someone tried to squeeze through, or when an exceptionally inebriated person got loud and we got nervous. Prices seemed like a bargain compared to a lot of places, but they certainly didn't skimp on quality. This restaurant will definitely be on our "come...
