Once again, I’m dining on the go. So, I stopped by this place way too early for anyone to have great food cooked, prepared, and ready to serve. So, I came back half an hour later, after making a quick stop at a local grocery store. This location has a Hispanic grocery store connected to it, but I was in the mood for some watermelons, and the watermelons they sold were way too big for my tiny truck fridge to hold, but I could really appreciate their size if I were home and able to use my house refrigerator. Now, back to the purpose of this posting. Once again, I’m placing to go orders. This location is so close to the place I’m getting my truck load, I could have walked to it. I optioned for three barbecue beef tacos and two tamales, because I had already eaten earlier this morning. Still, I wanted to try this place out, because there’s nothing like authentic Mexican food, as I am so over The Bell, after having real Mexican food. There was a small wait time here, even though I was the only customer, because as I saidā€”ā€œI was there practically as they openedā€. This is one of the few times presentation of the meal was not as important as the taste. I got exactly what I ordered, without the fancy wrapping paper, container, or garnishments I’ve come to expect, after eating to go orders at other Mexican restaurants. Still, the barbecue beef tacos tasted amazing…and this is a rare change from my normal order of chicken by the way. They tasted a lot better than they looked, after coming grouped together in one wad of aluminum foil. I would have preferred a small container myself, but I’m sure this was done to keep each tacos contents to themselves. The tamales left me wandering a little, as to what meat was inside, because it wasn’t mentioned on the menu; it simply said ā€œTamalesā€. Not every Mexican restaurant I’ve been to serves tamales, so I ordered them regardless, because I love tamales. I was not disappointed with the flavor, and I think it was chicken…I think. Overall, this was not a bad place to stop for a meal at all. Then to wash it all done, the store next door had my favorite drinks too—Jarritos fruit punch and Jarritos pineapple. Simply a must have with a good meal, in my opinion. Lastly, what I’m really looking forward to next time I’m in the area is ā€œthe buffetā€. They have a banner outside saying ā€œBuffet Coming Soonā€. That is something I am excited about…though not the cost of buffet dining. I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant with a buffet, so I’m a little excited to see what they will offer…and how much it will cost. Stop in and give this place a try. I wasn’t dissatisfied at all with the food. The young waitress was very nice and so was the cashier at the connected store that sold me the Jarritos.

Online order purchase, cashier would not give us our complete order without first checking the emailed receipt, name, phone number and last 4 digits of credit card despite being given the information initially. Food is great though I would avoid making any online payments for quick and easy service. Avoid this place if you want take out and disputing your payment and opt...
