Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Little tiny Church's Chicken it's actually kind of cute got my chicken tenders and there were no tenders I'm sorry churches I cannot in good conscious call what you gave me tenders they were good they were delicious they were not worth $30

What you gave me was a box full of chicken fingers so let me be clear I basically classify chicken in four categories You have popcorn chicken You have chicken nuggets You have chicken fingers You have chicken tenders and then of course you have whole pieces of chicken and then whole chickens

What I got was what I would classify as chicken fingers and they were all about the same size about the size of my finger mind you I have pretty big hands but they were definitely not tenders which would be about the size of my hand these are about the size of 2 and 1/2 McDonald's chicken nuggets a chicken finger but I ordered and I paid the price for chicken tenders

So basically I take this to mean you've stopped selling chicken tenders and have never placed them with chicken fingers to save money? Not cool at least to be fair and honest and stop calling them tenders and call them chicken fingers

Now beyond that little gripe the staff was fantastic The employees were friendly alert and responsive it only took a few minutes for my order and it was a pretty big order The biscuits were delicious The chicken was very good if very small and expensive no cartilage good quality meat nothing hard to chew could be a little crispier but still pretty good

The fries were lackluster and for a large side with a meal I expected a bit more fries I got what I would consider to be about a medium fry at say McDonald's although these were crinkle cut they tasted okay they were delicious in the white gravy however

The white gravy needs pepper definitely needs pepper but otherwise it was pretty darn good

Macaroni and cheese is not a premium side stop calling normal sides premium sides and just own up to the fact that you've raised the price of your sides and have decided to leave the less desirable sides at the old price because fried okra corn and macaroni and cheese are not premium they're just regular sides

The baked mac and cheese was delicious however I did like it.

besides the typical price gouging that's going on industry-wide this has nothing specifically to do with churches but all of the food industries in general are doing the same thing just stop by KFC and see what a dozen tenders costs..... Ouch

Overall not counting the price gouging the experience was a positive one The food was delicious it was hot it was prepared well The people were friendly and responsive. You better be paying them well churches or we will be serving CEO...

Not worth the money I spent, chicken is dark brown and tasted like it was cooked in old oil Mashed potatoes are runny Mac and cheese are runny it’s disgusting…. Literally DISGUSTING. Not to mention the old girl working the window and serving the food. Is unprofessional right off the bat she had a very juvenile attitude. I called her when I got home to let her know the mashed potatoes were awkwardly running and the macaroni and cheese was also disgustingly runny. She tells me well nobody else has complained. (Like a little kid) I explained to her how awful this food looked and tasted if I can get my money back. Of course she doesn’t have that authority. Go figure, I let her know I can bring them back to show her. She tells me No then laughs and tells me she’ll swap em out. And Honestly I don’t feel comfortable taking for from someone who has this childish mentality. She’s the type to do something inappropriate. So she tells me to call RUTH tomorrow and hangs up on me. However, it’s not just the food I’m paying for. I am disappointed and disgusted off the food and the service. This location and herself...

Went in there on my way home. Go through drive through there was a "out of service" and so iwe go to the window. I get out to go to the counter. I waited a while and I was the only customer. Finally, a worker asked me what to order. I give her order then a manager comes out from the back. I told her you are "out of otder" drive thru. Then she tells the girl who was putting my order together to take down the signs in the drive thru. Well, because she took over my order. She forgot my cole slow. I had to remind her about napkins. She explained she had a faulty headphone at the drive thru? Well, I get home no coleslaw. I called her about the otder. She tried to tell me she didn't do the order. I told, "Yes,you did you stupi B"! I like it when people pass the bucket on to other people . Yes, the manager has no manager skills. If you go there the chicken is brown. I paid over $32.00 for 8 peice combo. They can't even do that. This location has the worst...
