I’m a local musician and have had the pleasure of playing here multiple times. The shows are mostly all ages. All music genres are welcome but mostly punk / metal / indie / noise. It has a single bathroom that has worked and been clean when I was there. Owner Bethany is professional, friendly and fair. Staff has always been professional and friendly. Shows are often in the evenings but they have been known to have matinee shows. There is a McDonald’s a singes throw away. There is a taco spot walking distance north from there. There is an amount of homeless / seedy element on 4th street however I’ve never seen unprovoked violence. Use caution. If you’re a touring band do not leave anything of value in your vehicle unattended. Use a club or wheel lock—Abq is notorious for stolen vehicles.
