Subway — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I wish I could give zero stars. I've been to this location plenty of times and subway in general and have never had an experience like this. I walked in, barely asked for what bread I wanted and the man asked what sandwiches I wanted. I described what sandwiches I wanted and he said WELL I CANT DO THAT. Confused why he was so irritated by me asking for two items that all the ingredients were present for, I said, okay, no problem, can I just make my own sandwich then and tell you what I want on it? And he shouts back I CANT DO THAT!!!! At this point I'm completely confused why he is speaking me to me in this way when I have been calm and courteous from the beginning. I said, that's no problem, can I just tell you which meats and cheeses I would like? And he was like I SAID I CANT MAKE IT I DONT HAVE GUACAMOLE. Which again would've have been fine with me. I wasn't being demanding or loud, I was calm up until this point and said you know what? Don't worry about it,and left. I was more than willing to work with him. Maybe he was having a rough day and took it out on me but it really freaked me out. I work in food service and understand sometimes things are out. I don't know what was going on but I will never go back to thelat location....

I’ve lived in the area for over five years. We go to this Subway maybe once a week. But after this evening it looks like we will not be going back and we didnt even eat there.

My 4 year old son needed to use the restroom. I go into the restaurant and ask if he can. The manager, Sheena, is quick with a snappy “NOPE! YOU GOTTA BUY SOMETHING FIRST”. I tell her Ill buy cookies after as my son needs to potty. She is holding to “NOPE. BUY THEM BEFORE”.

So we leave to find another business that is friendly and empathetic and a few doors down, we were welcomed with open arms.

I went back to asked the manager and owners name so I can file a complaint. The manager, Sheena, is defensive to my questions and lacks empathy for humanity, apparently.

Managers can be on a power trip. I understand I was not a customer but it’s not like I was going to go take a bath in the sink. I also didnt want to stand there to pick and choose cookies or make a sandwich while my kiddo dances around to use...

Do not waste your time! I am serious! This location is pathetic. Every few months I forget that I said I would never come back here. Because I live literally a block away. Then I go in and realize why I said that. This restaurant is absolutely just a reflection of poor management. Every time you go in there's a new employee.They never have any idea what they're doing. Today I went in and both the employees Name badges said training. They were the only two there. Neither of them had any idea how to make a sandwich? They were stressed and irritated and it wasn't even their fault. Where is the manager?Where is the Is owner of this Restaurant. It is absolutely ridiculous. Do not waste your time. You will be much better off driving out of your way to find Another subway. This location should just shut...
