I remember when teriyaki chicken bowl was new. That was way back when. I went there and got a teriyaki chicken bowl for about $4. They'd give you that bowl and it was heavy in my hand, packed with delicious Sweet steamy rice, fresh grilled teriyaki chicken and lots of veggies.. it was a beautiful thing!! Now, at $8.50 it just ain't a beautiful thing anymore. The bowl has gotten a lot lighter and the chicken is still tasty but not as fresh as it used to be. It's almost like they made it a few days ahead of time and they just pull it out and heat it up on the grill for you. The flavor is good, but not quite as good as it used to be. Because I am legally blind I do not drive and ordering through grub hub is not cost effective. Because of Covid they do not have the staff to open the lobby and the drive through is how they are doing business. I walked to the drive through to place my order and was told they do not accept walk up as a management policy. They also do not answer the phone for call in orders.    Read moreWhile I understand that the Drive Thru is open, if you happen to be in a vehicle where you aren't allowed through the Drive Thru, they will refuse to take your order. Even if there are no customers and you walk to the window and ask if you can place an order (even if it is obvious you are working and in uniform). Apparently "We won't give you anything unless you are in a car" is the only explanation. I guess the drop in customer volume is acceptable. Really really disappointing. Hopefully this was just an unhappy or uninformed employee. Maybe we will be back.... Maybe not. Any people in a company vehicle that doesn't allow you to utilize a drive thru, be forewarned.
