My husband and I had reservations last night at 8pm. We got there 15 minutes early but they were able to seat us within 5 mins. Atmosphere was pretty chill and laid back. We ordered a café luccio, which was pretty amazing for coffee. Had a glass of Cabernet and pink mascato. They were good. I ordered the chicken piccata and sautéed spinach. The caper sauce on the chicken piccata was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the steak alfredo and it was market price. There are only 2 unsatisfactory things I have to say about Castelluccio, no. 1: My husband wanted his steaked medium but it was well done. Though, it was still very delicious. And no. 2: The 8 oz steak wasn't worth the market price of 49.99 Castelluccio charged. I can go to Harvey's on Noble in sylacauga and order a 16 oz bone in Ribeye for 41 dollars or a 32 oz steak for market price which is usually around 50-65 dollars. But all in all, the food was amazing and definitely will be going back. I just don't recommend ordering anything that's market price at Castelluccio, it's...
Read morePhenomenal experience. We had a long day, meant to get here earlier than we did but ended up walking in 30 minutes before close. I’ve been to some places who seem to be annoyed by people coming in late but here, we were welcomed with a smile. Adam was our server and he was attentive but not overbearing, we never felt rushed. We forgot to order our appetizer and when we realized we let him know and it was out on the fly. We made the mistake and he made it like it never even happened. The portions were HUGE. You could easily share one entree with 2-3 people. The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. I loved how the chef came out and checked on all of the tables. He was extremely friendly you could tell he loved what he does. I would not hesitate to go back and would highly recommend it to anyone. Whether you’re going on a first date, an anniversary, birthday, or just a random dinner, you need to try this place out. Food and...
Read more1st time eating there. My husband and I walked in and the greeder asked if we had reservations. When I replied No, we were frowned at. It took a few minutes to seat us because a table for 2 didnt have silverware on it. As we waited 15 lady's came in as a group and was seated immediately. The dinning area was small and extremely noisy with the all the tables being full. We couldn't have a conversation. Our appetizer came out moments before dinner and my pasta was cold. So I waited until they made more while my husband ate. He said his spaghetti was bland. I ended up getting my pasta to go. The manager and waitress were apologetic about the cooled off plate of pasta, but never offered to make an adjustment to our bill. I usually give restaurants 3 strikes, but this one I will...
