Donuts, Coffee, and More — Restaurant in Alexandria

I've only had one negative experience here. I was the only person in the store, nobody at the window. While I was in the middle of my order, a guy drives up. The lady taking my order literally had two of four glazed and filled donuts I was in the middle of ordering in hand, when her coworker at the window comes and says he might need the two in her hand. Since she'd just filled two but not the others, he suddenly snatches every filled donut but the two in her hand and gives them to the window customer who arrived after me. They gave him free donut holes to make up for him not getting those two and the lady taking my order was flabbergasted that my order was half taken from me by someone who came after I'd already put my order in. You could tell she wanted to protest, but she decided not to raise a fuss over it.

It's pathetic that an employee would show preference to someone who was at the window who came after I did, and even moreso that they took donuts from my order to fill his. Whoever that tall, hefty man working the window was should be fired for doing something like that. I doubt I ever go back after that, and I always spend a lot when I go as it's my favorite donut shop. I hope it was worth it to give that guy two of my donuts.

Tldr; A customer that came after me was given two of my four already ordered donuts (they were going to take those too but my server had already filled them) to fill his order and he bought everything up so I had nothing left for me to replace what was taken. I normally love this place. Until today, I asked the girl if she could put the Mustard on my croissant. She replies, we don't do that here. I replied, the other girl does it. Her reply, well, I don't do it.

WOW!!! Just WOW!! For such a great establishment it is sad when someone that represents such great establishment is rude to a customer. LUCKILY, one of the owners just so happen to pull up behind me in the drive through. That was no accident. I got out and told him my most recent experience. He was very apologetic. I asked him, if I were asking to much. His reply, if we were busy, yes. Ah. (I was the only car in line, then the owner pulls behind me) I said, there was a better way of her telling me what she did. Best donut experience I’ve ever had! When we walked in, it took us awhile to order because there were so many delicious options. We went with the glazed donuts (that melted in your mouth), kolaches (the bread was buttery and airy), iced caramel coffee (smooth and good flavored), and a cinnamon roll (that I am now too full to try but will later). The food was everything that this pregnant mama wanted. Plus, the customer service was amazing too. She was super attentive and the best multitasker I have ever met. She took our order, finished off another order, and took in a drive-through order all at the same time perfectly and accurately.
