I went here for lunch and it is definitely a very local spot. It seems to have its regulars and you may be confused initially if you are not one, but I think it is worth a try.
Definitely home cooked food with a staffed kitchen. It kind of reminds me of a cafeteria and that isn't a bad thing. There are daily specials, but you can also order from a menu.

Fried Shrimp was bland no seasoning what so ever. Fountain drinks were also HORRIBLE !!! COKE TASTED FLAT someone changed the coke but it still was gross so probably the machine is dirty and old or it's the ice either way it's nasty. Definitely wouldn't recommend eating here.
