Fifi’s Creamery — Restaurant in Algonquin

I wouldn't recommend it. The ice cream was pretty standard. They accidentally gave us the wrong cone and when I mentioned it, they looked very annoyed (the 2 girls working gave each other a stare like I was putting them off) and then they threw the cone in the trash immediately. Then they asked me if I wanted the kids size after they already scooped it, and I said yes (the cone was for my 3 year old), they looked very annoyed. They almost charged me for two larger sized orders, then rang me up for what I ordered. They tables were dirty (napkins and used ice cream bowls left out for the entire time we were there, about 20 mins. despite 3 people working there at once) and they were pretty pricey for what you got. They also wrapped the cones in a standard napkin, which stuck to the cone and made the cone inedible at the end. I still tipped them because they are new and I'm hoping they will be successful. But, I personally would not return. Also... my son mentions this, "there was no cherry on top, I find that confusing". Lol... so, ya know. Plus no public restrooms...? With little kids, that's a bit of an issue at times. No where to clean up after becoming a mess...

First I have to say the young girls working were professional, respectful, responsible, friendly, and overall made our first time visit for ice cream even better. Not very much seating which was ok since we were the only ones there before closing. Flavor variety was good definitely my favorite were the sugar free caramel $ cashew and brownie avalanche (i think thats the name). Also the flavor This "stuff" just got serious was pretty delicious. Exhausted parent minus the bourbon imitation taste would have been good. Overall ice cream was good and decent choices to choose from and nice ice cream place to take the family for a treat. There is a new ice cream place in town and we decided to stop by after dinner. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Luckily we were able to stop by before this place is hopping in the near future. Based on our experience I think the owners will have a line out the door during the summer

They have plenty of flavors to choose from and our family loved everything they chose. There were many other flavors we wanted to try so we will be back in...
