This place is a diamond in the rough, but there's nothing rough hewn about the friendly welcome. The moment you walk in the door, you feel like you've just put on rose colored glasses. I was there tonight for a private family event. The food and drinks were quite refreshing, there were cool paintings on the walls made by the owner, a very lovely outdoor area for gathering and celebrating, and a whole lot of beautiful smiles. I participated in a concert series here tonight. It was wonderful. We had an attentive audience that was inquisitive and caring. The series promotes the creation of art, so I thought I'd share a poem to capture the essence of what this place inspired within me today.
