"Disrespectful, rude, don't have bagels"

I've gone to this place three times. I've only gotten a bagel there twice. Did I lose my appetite? No. Did something suddenly come up and I had to leave? No. They were out of bagels both times! The first time was at 11am on a saturday and the second was at 10:15 on a saturday. When I expressed my shock and displeasure, the hipster behind the counter actually had the gaule to argue with me. The place is called Valley Bagel and Deli and both times they were completely out of every single type of bagel besides sesame. Whats worse is that even though i came in at 10:15, heyre were completely out of every bagel so unless someone came in and bought fifty bagels at 10:14, they had been out of bagels for a while... 8:30am, 9am, 9:30am, do you guys really run out of bagels at 9am, ON A SATURDAY? Are you out of your minds?

There are two bagel places in Chester that have bagels until 4, several on route 10 until 3, one on route 46 until 3... actually the list of bagel places that don't serve bagels up until close consists of one place, this place. I am a bagel connoisseur, I'm obsessed wih bagels. I eat a bagel every morning. I've been to almost every bagel place in the state of NJ half of NY, and Florida for that matter, and i have never in my life seen or heard of a bagel place running out of bagels at 10am on a saturday. This place is a disgrace. They should remove bagel from their name and sign because it is disrespectful not only to their customers but to bagels themselves. It takes a couple of dollars to make a batch of bagels (flour, water, and salt) which means that anyone who wants a bagel after 10 isn't even worth that much.

By the way they're bagels are about an 8/10 overall and a NJ 7/10, and even though they take the care to make coffee ice cubes (such service here but no service otherwise?) their coffee tastes...

Lived in this area most of my life and stopped going here years ago due to the wait. Decided today to stop to grab a sandwich for my son. Looked around and the place is filthy. I mean food all over, Dust and dirt.

Looked over the plastic divider to the counter they were working on and it was absolutely filthy. I mean how do you work and not cross contaminate ? Next to the area where they were placing the subs not too far was a jar of opened peanut butter. I had to tell them not to put my sandwich down on that filthy counter near all the debris and opened peanut butter because my son is anaphylaxis to nuts and peanut butter. I don't care how nice you are, The board of health needs to visit this place. Loved seeing the piles of lettuce on the floor, just a turn off. Got the sandwiches threw them away because you couldn't even get the side condiments correct. Wondering how that pipe or vent above the counter is healthy seems like it is a dust collector hopefully...

I believe the only time I got good service was when the owner was there. Last week I stop for a bagel and cup of coffee and ask this young girl with a bad attitude for the men's room and she told me that it was out of service, I was waiting for my bagel and four people got their orders first, so I ask why takes too long to put cream cheese on a bagel and she gave a nasty look and told me how much I own her and not even say sorry for the inconvenience or have a nice day; this is what happen when the owner is not there or worse when a business owner hire teens that don't give &(^() about the business, in my case I NEVER NEVER NEVER WILL STOP BY THERE AGAIN, and I will make sure that I told all my customers not to stop there, and for that young &&(&9 GET A LIFE AND LEARN HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE, OH BY THE WAY IS THE ONE...
